Being bilingual has never been as important as it is today. Work, studies, travels, entrepreneurship, competitiveness, Hell! Nowadays, even building friendships and romances may require more than one language. I called my teaching approach ELM. Although I do like elm trees, it is in fact an acronym for Effective Language Mastery. I strongly believe that the effectiveness and speed of language learning greatly depend on the learner's motivation. Which is why the type and content of my courses are never twice the same. During the first meeting, I ask a few questions with the intention of discovering your learning type and what drives you to learn. Once this is done, I spend the period separating our first and second encounter building a teaching plan that suits you. Hence the "effectiveness". Naturally, the usual types of courses - General, Conversation focused, Business, Exam preparation - are available as well. As language teaching has been my passion for a very long time, my students' goals become mine as well. ---- Être bilingue n'a jamais été aussi important qu'aujourd'hui. Le travail, les études, les voyages, l'esprit d'entreprise, la compétitivité! De nos jours, même les amitiés et les relations amoureuses peuvent nécessiter plus d'une langue. J'ai appelé mon approche pédagogique ELM. Bien que j'aime les ormes, il s'agit en fait d'un acronyme pour Effective Language Mastery (Maîtrise efficace des langues). Je crois fermement que l'efficacité et la rapidité de l'apprentissage d'une langue dépendent en grande partie de la motivation de l'apprenant. C'est pourquoi le type et le contenu de mes cours ne sont jamais deux fois les mêmes. Lors de la première rencontre, je pose quelques questions dans le but de découvrir votre type d'apprenant et ce qui vous pousse à apprendre. Une fois cette étape franchie, je consacre la période qui sépare notre première et notre deuxième rencontre à l'élaboration d'un plan d'enseignement qui vous convient. Naturellement, les types de cours habituels - général, axé sur la conversation, affaires, préparation aux examens - sont également disponibles. L'enseignement étant ma passion depuis fort longtemps, les objectifs de mes étudiants deviennent également les miens.

Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!

Helen is an incredible teacher, I look forward to every class I have with her. She explains things very well and you can tell she is invested in you learning the language. She makes you feel very comfortable which is important when learning a new language. I’ve been practicing with her for just over a month and I can feel my French getting so much better.
