Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Emi, and I’m a Japanese language tutor based in Tokyo. While working in an office, I also teach Japanese. I majored in economics at university and later spent over 20 years working in back-office roles at housing manufacturers, consulting firms, and nonprofit organizations. In 2005, I entered an art university, completed a master’s program in art studies while working, and am now writing my doctoral dissertation. I also work as a part-time lecturer, supporting students in their studies and guiding them in essay writing. About My Lessons The main goal of my lessons is to help you communicate smoothly and effectively with Japanese speakers. To achieve this, we focus on: • Expressing your thoughts clearly (speaking/writing) • Understanding what others are saying or writing (listening/reading) Customized Lessons I tailor each lesson to suit your goals, level, and interests. In our first lesson, I’ll ask you about your objectives and specific needs, so we can design a program just for you. Lessons are conducted primarily in Japanese, but I can assist in English if needed. I also have a basic understanding of Spanish, so feel free to relax and enjoy the lessons! If you really want to improve your level of Japanese, please try my class! <Daily Conversation・Business Talk > Some people can read and understand Japanese, even very well, but their speaking ability is relatively low. This is often due to a lack of regular speaking opportunities! ​During a 1 on 1 lesson, you can be in a distraction-free environment and do not have to be nervous about making mistakes - I can give you immediate feedback and corrections! <Basic Program> From beginner up to JLPT N1 level, class activities are based on your specific needs. This is a certified mother-tongue teacher of the Turkish language and culture from Bursa. I have been working with numerous language schools in Turkey, in Europe, and in global platforms since 2011. I completed a program for teaching Turkish as a foreign language at Marmara University in Istanbul. I am also the Turkish language delegate for Directors Languages based in the UK, and a member of the Turkish team for Innovative Language Learning headquartered in Japan. I have built an exclusive method for Turkish teaching, being a self-language-learner myself. The lessons are adjustable for any kind of journalistic, touristic, romantic, gastronomic, linguistic, scientific, artistic, religious, historical, cultural, or commercial purposes; any level from hello to Ottoman poetry; background of any other language, way of learning, means of learning in person or via the Internet, and age. My spectrum of students expands from children to CEOs. I prefer proceeding with a constructive and conversational methodology for proper comprehension and confident learning of the Turkish language in the smoothest structure possible.
