I believe in using a variety of materials, interactive simulations, and conceptual learning to make the learning experience enriching and enjoyable. As an educator, my online teaching abilities have significantly improved over time, and I am well-adapted to the online learning environment, especially given the previous situation with Covid. Teaching Methodology: Effective teaching goes beyond simply presenting information or repeating the same material. To truly help students grasp concepts, it is essential to approach subjects from various angles, allowing students time to make connections. Making learning interesting in a classroom setting requires practice and skill, and I have honed these abilities over many years. I am dedicated to continually enhancing my teaching skills as I both teach and learn myself! Reason for pricing: I am an expensive tutor, there is no doubt that my hourly rate is high, but there is a reason for this. I am very good at what I do. I originally started as a volunteer in 2016 and since then I have helped countless students with their school work; most commonly in Maths but also other subjects like Physics, English, and Chemistry. Later my position developed into employment where I would run after school clubs to help the children build confidence and talk about their emotions, make fun programs for summer camps, and of course, I continued with tutoring many children GIRLS DO CODE Girls Do Code is an organization in Slovenia that aims to get more women into STEM, they believe that this interest has to start in childhood and therefore they offer lessons in Computer Science to over 300 girls. This cause was something that I thought was incredibly important and so I became a volunteer for their organization. This entailed teaching a group of 10 girls the basics of Computer Science in a fun and creative way and was a very rewarding experience. Through my training for Girls Do Code, I was certified by Microsoft as an Innovative Educator. I currently work as a Maths teaching assistant at an international school in the Netherlands where I work with children struggling with maths in small groups. Trusted teacher: Hello! My name is Sara and I have tutored a lot of students in my past, starting from when I was even just in high school! I believe I am a good teacher of math but am also exceptional at CV checks or helping with motivational essays and essay writing in general so would be happy to help in that area aswell. For my bachelors I pursued an aerospace engineering degree and am currently pursuing a masters in Cognitive Robotics. I am passionate about both learning and teaching because I have always believed education is the strongest tool. I am not somebody who understands things immediately so when I myself was learning in younger classes and in school, I always had a lot of questions and patiently worked through them. I think this kind of mentality is important when tutoring or mentoring somebody as opposed to criticizing mistakes. In my opinion, the more questions you ask, the better you understand! My teaching method usually includes introducing new theories and topics during our live sessions together and then assigning a few exercises or some homework for you to work on after the class on your own. In the next class, we will then go through your homework and clarify any questions you have. Again the aim is not that I am expecting a 100% on the homework (this could also be what your school gives you every week), but it's so we can work together on what you get stuck on!
