Jiaqi - Zug96Fr
Trusted teacher: 你好!Grüezi!Hola!Hello! I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher. I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner. In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun. The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.). As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. Being in the shoes of a linguistics student for years also enables me to better instruct you, as I understand very well what are the things a learner would find helpful. I welcome students of all age groups and prior proficiency levels. Looking forward to sharing my knowledge of Chinese language and culture with you:)

Trusted teacher: I teach adults and children of any age and any level, The core of my approach is: - Practice, practice, practice! Language proficiency is not knowledge but a SKILL. Every single theoretical topic should be practiced. For that reason, all my courses are full of practical tasks. - Having fun while learning. Only by having fun can your studying be effective. That’s why the practical tasks of my courses are interactive games. Another crucial point is 100 % clarity of the course theory — learning objectives for every course is made clear from the start. - Focus: There is too much information nowadays. It’s more and more difficult to navigate through it. So it’s important to have high-quality curated information for your studies: precisely what you need to address your specific needs: a real language for real life. - Authentic language: My courses are free from artificial phrases that can still be found in textbooks. I provide only genuine language spoken by people in real life. - A teacher’s mission is to inspire and to give direction, not just transfer knowledge into a student’s head. The best result is when students can learn by themselves, and when they are motivated to use every opportunity to master a foreign language. I will readily share strategies and resources for independently studying foreign languages. - Result vs process. A foreign language is not about good grades. Its real purpose is to improve your life. That’s why each lesson is another step toward your better life. No unnecessary information but precisely what you need to achieve your goals.

Jiaqi
Jiaqi has adopted her teaching approach to the age 5 and 6 of our sons and created a tailer-made sessions that contain crafting, drawing and game-playing that our boys love very much. While they really enjoy the sessions and the interaction is great we see the progress: our guys start teaching us Mandarin, read signs on all chinese products and show to their friends all the crafting they made together with Jiaqi. I'm happy to see that they learn Mandarin in such an organic way and highly recommend Jiaqi for any kind of learning classes with kids!

Tennis Training Technique Theory Drills Also match preparation fitness from beginner to intermediate!!! ( Ball machine available for rent) (Zurich)
Evangelos
We are a group of 4 beginners and we really appreaciate Evangelos as tennis trainer! Lesson is always entertaining, with a bit of theory to better understand basic techniques and a lot of practise where he revises our movements, corrects and explaines all the mistakes we make. He arranges specific exercises to let us focus and improve particular actions, but they always quite intense and aerobic. Defenitively recommended, we will keep having additional lessons for sure!

Sébastien
We had a first lesson with Sebastien for our 3 year old son. Sebastien was great at engaging with him and keeping his attention introducing musical concepts in a playful way.
