I have been a Piano teacher for many years, both to kids and adults. This is something I am very passionate about and truly enjoy. My goal is to combine the students' interests with a program that I as a teacher find necessary to improve and develop technique and skills. I have also taught Piano to my kids, so I understand how important it is that Piano lessons are interesting and exciting. I studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and give the lessons at my studio at grand piano in Amsterdam Zuid.

I am Tijmen, 22 years old, with an infectious passion for music. I started playing drums when I was 8, and when I turned 16 I taught myself several instruments. My classes are for students of all ages, and levels from beginner to intermediate. During the lessons I ensure that you can work independently and motivated between lessons with exercises that I adjust to your level and learning goal. If you already have a few years of playing experience, we can discuss matters such as playing technique, rhythmic modulation or using your left foot.

I am holding a bachelor and a master degree in jazz singing from the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Besides being a singer and performer, my other passion is teaching and connecting to people through music. I have been playing Drums for 13 years, beginning with Rock music and then moved to Jazz where I studied jazz drums at the Conservatory of music and ballet Ljubljana. I have always been very active as a professional drummer on stage in my home country The Netherlands, all over Europe and other continents.
