I teach singing lessons to students of all levels and ages. My goal is to help every student discover their unique voice and learn to use it in a healthy way. I offer face-to-face lessons in Antwerp, as well as online lessons.

My name is Ella, I’m a professional jazz singer. I have a degree in teaching, and have years of experience in teaching and coaching singers. I’m constantly looking to deepen my knowledge, and I’m currently studying new techniques focused on voice anatomy. In my coaching sessions I focus mostly on vocal techniques such as: -Full voice (chest voice) -Stiff voice (head voice) -Twang -The use of jaw and tongue -Control of the velum (soft palette) -Anchoring (support) -Larynx In my view, these techniques are like colors in your palette, when you master them, you can decide when and where you want to use them. Your sound should always be a choice, not a way to hide what you can't do (yet). This course is meant for intermediate to advanced singers. Courses take place in Anderlecht, at walking distance from Brussels South station.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. Experienced Oud & Oriental singing teacher for over 8 years, Lebanese, currently residing in Mönchengladbach. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes. However, if you lack a passion for music or the instrument itself, I advise against pursuing it. As a friendly and passionate teacher, I derive joy from witnessing my students' progress and enjoy playing duets with them.
