Creative writing - Poetry in English - Learn how to write beautiful poetryIn the modern world, the significance of poetry is overlooked. From Aristotle to Derrida (the range is not comprehensive), literary theory has maintained that a poem's power is measured in its affect. Throughout this course, our goal will not be to make inscrutable poetic analysis - though the first part of the lesson will be spent analysing word choice, meter, line length and spaces of an English poem written between pre-modernism and postmodernism. Rather, through our perusal of poetic form we will be able to ground our work, somewhat modestly, in the English poetic tradition.
Before the first class you will send me some of your own work so I know how to build or refine aesthetic temperament. I have been writing poetry for ten years and two years ago I published a chapbook at a press with competitive standards, and I am currently working on a full-length collection. If you wish to take up poetry seriously, time is needed and an eye for detail is essential.
I look forward to us broadening our aesthetic sensibilities together.

Creative Writing / Creative Writing in English and FrenchI studied Language Sciences and Literature in Paris, where I also did tutoring sessions for students in difficulty.
I also studied Game Design and Narrative Design.
Being a musician, I write song lyrics for several projects.
I have been writing poetry and freelance writing for over 10 years.
I am also a content creator for a French-speaking Belgian webzine; Shoot Me Again.
My background in literature and linguistics helped me to have a sensitivity to language. I bring a lot of importance to the weight of the words and to the rhythm in my writings.
My diverse experience has helped me build a solid background.
I can teach poetry, how to write song lyrics, spontaneous writing for the Spoken Word for example but also how to structure an article, a dissertation or any other writing.
I can also help you write a lore, a scenario and dialogues for a video game.
Write to me to have access to a piece of my portfolio!
See you soon :)

Learn Turkish language | from basic level to 16th century Turkish.I taught Turkish to three people before. A Greek, an Arab and a German learned Turkish with me. They began to read Turkish poems and listen to songs. One of them even gives me song recommendations.
You can too. You can learn language step by step. Turkish is a difficult language. I am aware. I'm not going to crush you under the grammatical walls. Step by step, I can prove how easily you can speak a language by speaking, singing, reading poetry. Let's try it.

Online English Literature Lessons to suits your needs and interests (from PhD in Literature)With thirteen years' teaching experience, in universities, private institutes, secondary schools and as a private tutor, I have a PhD in Comparative Literature and a broad understanding of learning techniques and approaches.
I am friendly, approachable, and will tailor my teaching to your needs, objectives, likes and dislikes.
With expertise across English and Anglophone Literature, theory and criticism, Comparative and French Literature, different exams and curricula, I feel confident helping you achieve your aims, whether personal, professional, or exam based.
My research focuses on contemporary poetry, postcolonial literature, music and popular culture, ecopoetry and nature writing. I have taught a whole range of periods, movements and critical approaches.
I also have many years' experience teaching English as a second language, including conversation skills for different contexts. I also teach writing skills, both professional and academic (including essay writing), and am happy to tailor classes to specific aims (for an event, a presentation, an interview, a specific professional field).
I think that teaching works best when it works on your level: you can learn English through discussion of music, TV series, books, and more - I am happy to integrate grammar and learning points into this.
In terms of Literature, we can approach a book, author, poem, play, theoretical work, movement or moment, together, and in different ways, drawing on the classes and materials I have developed over ten years in leading Parisian universities (I have also worked in the British and US university contexts).
I am also happy to teach creative writing skills - particularly poetry and non-fiction, so please feel free to ask about this, too!

Public speaking trainer, former political writer and author, offers public speaking courses and help with speech writing.Whether you want to develop your poetic sense or improve your language efficiency, whether you are looking to give more life to your oral interventions or to become more concise, I will make you work on your writing and your presence on stage to develop the oratorical style that suits you and allow you to express yourself as you would like.
Depending on your goals (conference, wedding speech, professional presentation, exams or more generally to finally express what you want to express), I bring you my expertise over a few sessions or over the long term. Depending on your profile, we will focus on voice or writing, preparation or improvisation, listening or peroration. As in any discipline, there will be training exercises, techniques to assimilate and automatisms to acquire. We will see together how to overcome the fear of the blank page, we will rework your texts, we will put them in our mouths so that you become aware of your ability to say beautiful, strong and striking things, in accordance with who you are, without trying to take yourself for someone else.

English IGCSE/GCSE/ Verbal Reasoning/ Poetry/ Creative WritingI can aid students from preschool to IGCSE/GCSE level in English, Verbal Reasoning, and essay writing. Having achieved an A* in both English Language and English literature, I am passionate about teaching children how to love the subject and excel in their examinations. I have tutored English in the past to both preschool and IGCSE pupils, offering a dynamic and interactive teaching style that helps nurture a child's love for English and creative writing. I have access to the poetry pamphlet taught in most schools for IGCSE, but can access whatever syllabus is needed for a specific exam. I also have created several worksheets for students who are learning English as their second language. Having studied French, German, and Latin at school, I am aware of the etymology of many words which will allow students to connect meanings across their language to understand the literature fully. In my free time, I write poetry and novels and can share many teachings I learnt on a creative writing course I undertook in 2016.

Learning Korean Language ( K-pop / K-Drama / K-Literature)
I am a South Korean poet and actor.
I currently live in the Netherlands.
Last year, I taught children at a Korean language school in Eindhoven.
Because I was an actor, my Korean pronunciation is very accurate and can be of great help in developing your Korean conversation skills.
Also, since I am a poet, I can also teach classes on Korean literature.
In the Netherlands I make a living as a musician. So, it is possible to take classes to learn Korean while learning K-pop.
I express my gratitude to all of you who love the Korean language and love Korea, and I will be ready to experience the beauty of the Korean language with you and actively help you!

Poetry Writing for Beginners and Intermediate WritersWould you like to learn how to write poetry or develop your poetic craft with the assistance of an experienced teacher? In this class, we'll work on shaping new drafts whilst learning about international poetic forms as well as producing some free verse work. We'll edit our material and, if we have multiple sessions, we'll put together a brief collection! We will explore the world of the senses, memories, and connect to language in a new, profound way. My course is not prescriptive, and we'll meet your voice wherever you're at right now.
You'll be taught by a published poet with work experience in the UK and North America. I've taught Creative Writing to university students at a world-leading school, and worked with younger audiences, and I'm happy to work with a variety of forms in English.
