I've been playing and studying music since I was 7 years old; I started with classical guitar, then electric guitar and electric bass, then I started double bass and lately I'm learning saxophone. I would say my main instruments are guitar and bass and I have been teaching these for 5 years to students of different levels and different aspirations. For me it is very important to understand what the student wants and needs to guide him on the best path; I also try to always make the classes a fun learning environment. As a violinist for 21 years now, 12 years at the conservatory and 9 years as a private teacher, I offer quality lessons adapted to your level. We'll focus on technique (scales, etudes) but we'll also look at a few tricks to improve your playing. It's advisable to do some music theory on the side to be able to read notes and rhythm properly. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing. I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar. We all have the capacity and the right to sing. If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it. And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier. One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". Hello, I offer private Piano and Violin lessons, for all ages and all levels (beginners, intermediates or more advanced) in the region of Saint-Louis, Huningue, Village-Neuf, and Basel, from September 2023. I introduce myself: I am Clémence, a musician graduated from the Manchester Conservatory (Bachelor of Arts degree) and from the Basel Conservatory (Master of Performance).
