I am a first year master's student at EPFL, in biology. I offer support courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The course offers a possibility of help for students having difficulties in the courses offered. The student will find a framework where they can ask these questions, discuss methodologies and improve. Putting my knowledge at the service of other people is something I like to share. As a student at EPFL in computer science and with a C2 level in English, I am very fluent in this language and I take great pleasure in sharing my knowledge in English, the language of Shakespeare. I adapt to all levels, whether you want to start in English, improve your level, better understand the concepts learned at school, or prepare for the SAT or TOEFL exams. Whatever your goal, I'm here to help you progress and achieve your goals in English.

I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL). I am also an assistant for two courses at EPFL (3rd year Bachelor and Master levels), and I co-created and taught the EPFL Advanced Analysis course during the welcome week for new students (Students4Students EPFL). I strive to transmit my knowledge and my passion for the subject to my students, at a pace adapted to their needs. I think that students who take private lessons have a sincere desire to overcome their difficulties and that we must therefore pay particular attention to encouraging them. It is therefore step by step that I help them understand the material, by developing their intuition of the different concepts covered while ensuring that they fill in their gaps. Hello I am from Morocco and I am a big science enthusiast. Student at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 - third year of Bachelor - at the IC (computer science) faculty. I have been providing private lessons since 2018 in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences. Holder of a Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences since the summer of 2021, I completed 3 months of internship in a hospital environment in the psychiatric sector and fundamental research in neuroscience. I was also passed (admitted to the competition but the quota places granted limited my entry into medical school) after having completed a national competition which was both selective and elitist to enter a medical school: the first common year to health studies. Very difficult in maths, physics, organic chemistry and biology. I was subsequently very involved in collaborative and associative projects to train students for the medical competition, in the first year. I love teaching, making people understand and seeing this moment of light on the face of the student for whom everything becomes clearer! I have also been giving private lessons in mathematics and physics for 8th grade students at the gymnasium or in preparation for their maturity for 6 years. Many of my students have an ADHD profile, and I always enjoy adapting to the needs of each person, maintaining DYNAMICS in the course and doing interactive exercises so that the knowledge sinks in better. .. I am a student in the second year of a Bachelor of Mathematics at EPFL. In high school I participated in tutoring freshmen twice. It was a question of helping them to organize themselves, and of giving them support lessons in scientific subjects. I also helped friends in economics to progress in math. One of them intended to give up the subject and regained a taste for it when he understood how to go about it. (It went from 5/20 to 18/20) I consider it important to restore the self-confidence of students in difficulty. In addition, my goal during a course is to guide the student towards understanding without chewing on the work because the satisfaction of the work accomplished allows the students to take a liking to the work and therefore to really make them progress.

Second year master's student in Energy Science at EPFL, and holder of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the same school, I offer mathematics and physics courses to students from EPFL, UNIL, gymnasium or college. During my studies, I built a solid scientific foundation, but also accumulated a lot of experience as a private teacher. In fact, for 4 years already, I have been teaching: - to first year bachelor's and master's students at EPFL in the mechanical, microtechnology, computer science and biological fields - to UNIL students in the biology, economics and maths sectors - to students in the gymnasium. - to middle school students These experiences allowed me to develop a better approach during my courses. I first try to understand what the student has understood, and what is not well understood. To do this, I suggest doing several exercises together. Then, I re-explain in a simpler way the part in which the student is having difficulty. Finally, I let the student do a new exercise on his own to see if the concept has been acquired. I am very happy to be able to help students in difficulty to progress, because for me the sharing of knowledge is very important. In particular, I was able to help students with weaknesses in mathematics and physics to pass their end-of-year exams.
