My name is Texenén, I am a flute/piccolo player living in Maastricht with more than 15 years of teaching experience. If you want to learn how to play this amazing instrument; if you already know but would love to take it out of the storage room and enjoy it again; if you need help to study the pieces you have to play in your wind band; or if you want to prepare exams, competitions or auditions I am here to help you to reach your goals. I have taught in music academies, masterclasses, and private lessons, from beginners to advanced students. I will work to help my students to improve their skills and keep them motivated. Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

As a professional saxophonist with experience playing various different styles of music, I am able to accommodate for students individual interests. With a degree in Jazz Saxophone from Leeds Conservatoire, I have high technical ability and a in depth knowledge of Jazz music theory. This is supported by my gigging portfolio that has seen me perform on tour across Europe, as well as many UK festivals, and on stages with bands such as Madness and The Blockheads. I tailor lessons to individuals, to help aid development and generate a strong passion for one's music. Music is subjective so I find it key for learning to be student led so as to keep sustained interest and generate a positive development cycle.

Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online. I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level. In my lessons, I help students find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of auditory skills, a sense of rhythm and optimal use of the body, allowing them to connect with their musical imagination. Lessons are tailored to the needs and desires of each student. The most important thing is that we have a good time!

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

Whether you are a beginner, advanced or have no previous musical knowledge, I offer you individual, fun but also professional saxophone lessons. With over 7 years of teaching experience and more than 1000 lessons given, I am a passionate and experienced teacher, capable of guiding students of all levels. *Are you a beginner? I hold a first class honours degree in Classical Flute from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I studied with Ian Clarke and Philippa Davies, and won the Needlemaker's Woodwind Prize. After graduating in 2022, I was invited to become a Guildhall School Junior Fellow, specialising in Flute and Composition. As a freelance flautist, I have had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Concert Hall and the Southbank Centre. My performance experience encompasses a diverse range of settings, from live radio broadcasts to collaborations with dance and art installations, reflecting my versatility as a musician, and openness to help my students pursue their own personal journey, both within music and as an individual in general. In addition to my passion for the flute, I am also an accomplished composer with a portfolio of commissioned works premiering at renowned venues and exhibitions worldwide. Notable highlights include composing for Wessel Flutes, Berlin Fashion Week, Nxt Museum (Amsterdam), and Adidas Y-3. My work as a composer heavily influences my approach to teaching. Beyond emphasising technical proficiency and a solid grasp of music theory, I am dedicated to nurturing creativity in all of my students.

This class is for students of any age who wish to learn the transverse flute. Learning an instrument takes time and commitment, but it's hugely rewarding - and it doesn't have to be boring! I have experience teaching students of all age and levels and I specialise in tailoring my teaching to meet the individual needs of each student. Beginner flute lessons are suitable for students learning from scratch or those already playing up to about ABRSM Grade 2 level. In beginner flute lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of making a sound and play your first notes, as well as the basics of reading music. As lessons progress, you will learn your first short pieces and maybe even prepare for graded exams. Intermediate lessons are suitable for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels. In these lessons, you will build on what you already know to expand your abilities on the flute. You will learn more about different musical styles and techniques and develop more confidence to express yourself through music. Advanced lessons are for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 6 and beyond. Depending on each student, lessons could involve growing more skills to take the advanced grade or diploma exams exams through to learning the skills to put together a recital programme or prepare for a music college audition. There is wide scope in these lessons to focus on your areas of interest, while still keeping an eye on the solid foundations of good flute technique and musicianship.

I offer clarinet lessons to young or adult musicians who like to play the clarinet, regardless of whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. I work from a holistic principle in which I base myself on various methods for clarinet practice (for beginners this is for example Jan van Beekum, hearing reading and playing or Collis. For the advanced player this is for example Collis or Gambaro, Uhl or Cavallini). I teach, among other things, musicality, expression, musical phrases, breathing, tone formation, technical control and rhythm. I myself still take clarinet lessons at the conservatory of Zwolle and I strive to pass on the skills I acquired there to the student.
