I hold a BMus in classical Music (voice and piano) from Goldsmiths University, London, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Studies from the Royal Welsh College of Music, for which I was awarded the Geraint Evans vocal scholarship to study with the world-renowned Opera singer Suzanne Murphy. I have been a professional opera singer for over 15 years, and have taught throughout London and the South East of England both privately and at specialist schools such as the Jasper Allen school for Performing Arts in London. I understand how daunting it can be to sing in front of someone - especially for the first time. Your voice is your own precious instrument. One that requires respect and care. My aim is to help you build self-confidence, find your voice, and express yourself through music. As your vocal teacher, I will help you to set goals that develop your unique instrument and bring out your own personality. We will work on building a solid technical foundation including breath control and voice placement (classical and pop)through all musical genres, from Madonna and Prince to Mozart and Sondheim. Everyone and anyone - all ages and ability are welcome! I'm based in Eaux-Vives. I also run a new non-audition adult choir on a Monday and Thursday evening.

Bienvenue, Je suis professeur de chant, formée en chant lyrique au Conservatoire de musique de Genève depuis l’âge de neuf ans et en chant moderne à l’Institut The Complete Vocal Education à Genève depuis 2009. Je propose des cours particuliers et collectifs à domicile (entre Genève et Thonon). Je peux également recevoir mes élèves à domicile, à Veigy. J'enseigne en français ou en anglais. J’accompagne l'élève dans l'initiation au chant et l'établissement de reflexes essentiels à sa pratique. De manière générale, ces points comprennent la posture du corporelle/faciale, la respiration, la justesse et la rythmicalité. En parallèle, je l'invite à découvrir et pratiquer chaque mode, couleur et effet qu'il est possible de réaliser avec la voix. J'utilise le piano et/ou la guitare en support. Je propose également des sessions d'enregistrement, de looping ainsi qu'un accompagnement dans la composition de chansons. My goal here is above all to share my passion. Each lesson will therefore be adapted according to the style, level and desires of the student. I use breathing techniques that are simple, effective and accessible to everyone. Rapid warm-up of the voice (vocalizations) and direct immersion in pure singing with or without music depending on the student's needs. Accompaniment on piano or guitar or via Playpack. Breath, search for groove, accuracy, feeling, emotions, singing is an art that requires total letting go. My goal will be to do everything to help you achieve this.

Hello everyone, My name is Ena and i am a professional classical singer, i recently moved to Geneva and started my Season at the Grand Theatre de Geneve as a mezzosoprano in Ensemble of the opera. Since i love teaching, even with my busy schedule i try to find time to pass my knowledge and passion for singing to whomever is in need or would just like to try it out:) I have 2 Master degrees in my field and have been professionally singing on big stages since 10 years now. My focus of the lessons is mainly on technique and breathing but nevertheless fun and discovering new things are definitely gonna be big part of it too. You can decide which genre you would like to sing (classical, pop, jazz, musical..) and then the journey starts! From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice. We’ll also bust some common myths about singing, and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in such a short time! It’s going to be a lot of fun!

These classes are designed for boys and girls who want to have a comprehensive approach to music through games, songs, stories and body percussion. It can be done accompanied by parents or guardians. It seeks to develop an emotional relationship with music, favoring individual expression and learning the basic principles of music, which will be useful later when starting to learn an instrument. We will do rhythm, intonation and ear training activities. We will use different instruments, taking into account those that the student has.

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.
