With over 16 years of professional experience as a musician, I have performed in a wide range of genres and ensembles alongside top artists and bands including, Madness, Chas & Dave, The Blockheads and Dave O'Higgins. I enjoy teaching a wide range of music and styles from Funk, R&B, Jazz, Latin/World, Pop and Rock. Throughout my career, I have toured across the UK, EU and US, playing at well known festivals, theatres and world renowned venues. I hold a BMus(hons) in Bass Guitar and have served in HM Royal Marines Band Service for 8 years specialising in Bass Guitar, Tuba and Double Bass. I have played music all my life hailing from a Jazz family upbringing, and now I am at the stage where I get to play amazing shows and enjoy all the beautiful parts of music. This has inspired me to become a teacher, which I started over a year ago now. As an experienced saxophonist I like to pass on my knowledge in an adapted, easy way. From the beginning, the focus is on what you want to learn to play yourself. In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege. On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year.
