Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.

I am a graduated music teacher with German degrees in music pedagogy, Artistic Studies (K.A.), and Historical Informed Practice. I shape my lessons in the most dynamic way, often accompanying the Piano. I also like to follow the musical taste of my students and I am qualified to give a well-grounded technical instrumental formation.

Mein Name ist Léna Ruisz und ich biete Geigenunterricht für alle Alters- und Leistungsstufen an. Ich verfüge über langjährige Erfahrung im Privatunterricht und schliesse derzeit meinen Master of Pedagogy an der FHNW in Basel ab. Mir gefällt besonders die Dualität des Lernens: eine solide Grundlage zu schaffen und an der Technik zu arbeiten, die schliesslich erlaubt, völlige Freiheit und Freude auf dem Instrument zu erleben. Ich selbst finde die Balance zwischen beidem, indem ich nach den Prinzipien der Alexandertechnik arbeite und auf die Gesundheit des Körpers und die Nachhaltigkeit des Spiels achte. Dies setze ich in meinem Unterricht um; ich finde es sehr wichtig, den Unterricht, die Übungen, die Methode eng auf die Ziele und die Persönlichkeit der SchülerInnen abzustimmen. Ich habe auch einen Master in Violine in alter mensur, den ich an der Schola Cantorum Basiliensis absolviert habe. Alte Musik ist meine andere große Leidenschaft - es besteht also immer die Möglichkeit, die historische Aufführungspraxis kennenzulernen! Nach über 23 Jahren, in denen ich dieses wundervolle Instrument spiele, begeistert mich die Freiheit der Musik immer noch und lässt mich immer weiter machen. I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced violin and viola lessons to all ages. My lessons are customized for each student’s personality, learning style, and abilities. I put a strong emphasis on developing instrumental techniques and fundamentals. With a good foundation, students are more easily able to express themselves in an imaginative way. I challenge my students with high standards in a learning environment that is fun and engaging. I believe that students learn best when they feel challenged, but also successful and confident about themselves. I am a detail-oriented and rigorous teacher but I find balance through patience and kindness. I maintain a keen awareness of pacing, interests, and motivation so that my students never get bored.

As a graduate violin teacher, I offer music lessons. I'm 26 years old, and have BA and MA degrees in performing, MA degree in music education and I'm currently studying Historical Performance in the Royal Conservatory. I have experience in teaching different levels and age groups, from beginner children and grown-ups to advanced youngsters, aged 5-55. It's a nice thing to help people get closer to an instrument and music, and be part of others' achievements! For children it's very useful to learn music because of its transfer effects, and for adults, it's also a good way of recreation, quiet from workdays and so on. Violin lessons for beginners I can teach you the violin from scratch to professionalism, and this will include teaching musical notation, writing and reading. We can start by learning the principles of music and then gradually move to training on the violin. There will be a special book for teaching.

Let me introduce myself. I am Ángeles, an Andalusian in Finland, finishing my master degree in Music Performance at the prestigious Sibelius Academy with great professor Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. I came to Helsinki two years ago seeking for a personal and cultural growth, with huge passion for music and the need to share it. I discovered in violin teaching a new path to that energy to come true, to materialize, by inspiring and leading enthusiastic students to their best performance. The starting level and goals of the student will determine the direction of the lessons. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.
