Hello, I'm Vartan, a cellist with a great orchestral experience. Before moving to Geneva, I worked for over twenty years in the Radio Symphony Orchestra in Belgrade (SORTS). I have also performed at the Belgrade Opera, in many chamber ensembles and musicals. In parallel, I went to classes in jazz, world music and ethno (Balkan music) where I learned different rhythms and improvisation which helped me to develop my understanding of classical music and music in general. VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.
