Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. If you are a complete novice and have not used computers to create music we can use a web-based programme or a free downloadable programme. On the other hand, if you are familiar with a particular programme that you have installed on your computer we can work through screen sharing and sound sharing to enhance your compositions using my experience. I will tailor-make the class to suit you.

In this class, you will learn how to go from being overwhelmed by a DAW like Logic Pro X, to having the techniques of music production at your finger tips; wether it be from writing film scores to hip-hop beats! I specialise in writing music with computers and have got over 4 years of experience of writing with DAW's and for an extensive range of genres, from pop, to experimental music. If you're just starting out and want to know how to use Logic Pro X, this class is perfect for you! You will learn how to create excellent sounding music, mixed and mastered to professionalism!

In the classes you will learn the entire process of creating a song, from the moment the idea is born until it becomes a product that you can share with the rest of the world. During the lessons you will not only learn to play the qanun but you will also get to know Arabic and Western music, and we will study music theories in a simple way to gain a better understanding of the music we play. From the first grade we will start learning melodies and songs and the technique needed to play and perform them correctly on the instrument.

Jürgen is a Dutch guitarist, composer and producer. He studied at GIT Hollywood. From his studio in Huizen, NH, he teaches guitar to young and old. Both beginning and advanced guitarists are welcome! Logic / GarageBand (For more basic classes) are powerful tools to help realise your creative music output, as well as being able to support imagery and or adapt music to picture. I have basic and advance courses, on both platforms, available to support your intentions and ideas or just develop your skills as a basic, intermediate or advanced media composer. Learn the entire process of composing, producing, mixing and DJing electronic music live. Lessons are based in my fully kitted out production studio in Nadodrze, running FLStudio, and are catered either to an area you want to focus, or the entire skillset involved in professional music production/performance.
