Statistics, Data Analysis, Math, Economics all levels

I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Luxembourg. For the past 4 years, I taught the University: statistics and probability theory to first-year students, and economics to 3th-year students.

I really enjoy teaching. I am looking forward to helping students when they need reinforcement on different subjects, or anyone interested in learning the following topics:

For maths: System of equations, derivatives, integrals, type of equations, etc.

For statistics: Probability theory, descriptive statistics, regression analysis, multivariate analysis, hypothesis testing, and methods for causal inference.

For young professionals: I have extensive experience in data analysis, data management, and statistical modeling. My class mixes both theoretical and practical parts using financial data as examples.

If you are interested, just write me a message telling me what topics are you interested in learning.

International Baccalaureate: Fun Math Exams Preparation!
My goal is to help you excel in IB Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics, both at SL and HL! As an IB graduate myself, I understand first-hand not only the subject curricula and requirements, but the entire IB experience both in the good days and the hard days. I remember all the dreams I had as a teenager, and how I pushed myself day by day to get a score that would make those dreams come true. A few years later, here I am as a Computer Science graduate from the University of Luxembourg, and I am ready and happy to support now your learning path and your own dreams. For nearly two years, I've been tutoring students at international schools here in Luxembourg. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of the IB but also introduced me to other curricula like the European Baccalaureate and the GCSE. The IB approach is known for being extremely challenging on more than the academic level, so sometimes we might need to try a few creative strategies and tricks that I used — like memorising trigonometric values by drawing funny images on your hands, reciting verses about sad turtles, or using colorful pens to sketch images that help you remember ideas. These might seem a bit unusual, but they've proven to work wonders! I’m available for tutoring both online and in-person, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate your studies without adding stress. I also can help you plan your IA and work through your ideas to come up with a winner project!

GRE (Quantitative part), Motivation letter and Application process
Do you need good GRE scores to get into one of the best universities or business schools? Prepare yourself in advance and pass GRE as soon as possible. In this class, I specialize in tutoring the GRE (Quantitative part). I plan the preparation strategy for every student given her level of math, explain the structure of the exam, provide lectures, materials for work in class and at home. I check homework and devote a lot of attention to the correction of mistakes. Upon request, I monitor and assist in the application process for an exam, in requesting results and sending them to universities. Course duration: from 2.5 to 6 months (evenings devoted), from 1 month to 2 months (full day devoted) /or/ by topic On request, I support students in writing a motivation letter and in their application process to University outside Luxembourg (especially US and UK). My GRE (Quant) score is 167/170 (91st quantile). I was applying for a Ph.D. in Economics and was waitlisted in Northwestern, interviewed by Wharton Business School (UPenn) and got a full scholarship in Rochester. Additionally, I teach math, economics, and Matlab or R programming.

Private math lesson, help with end of year work (vacation)
Passionate about mathematics and coaching, I have been giving individual lessons for more than 20 years, I help your children to progress by identifying their points of improvement and their strengths. My goal is to give them the desire to learn, the desire to progress and to exceed their limits on their own. The aim of the courses is to identify the obstacles to learning and to unblock them in order to make the student independent. The teaching technique often varies from that offered by the full professor in order to help the student understand the material from a different perspective.

Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacher
I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a perfect knowledge of the mathematics program of the College and the High School (from the Sixth to the Terminale). During my formative years, I studied and developed many techniques that make it easier to learn math. The strength of my pedagogical approach lies in my ability to explain in a simple way everything that the student finds complicated. I am passionate about this job because it gives me the opportunity to guide dropout students on the path to success. It is a real pleasure to see them evolve and come to terms with the fantastic world of mathematics. I provide my private lessons in Limoges (at the student's home) or remotely (online via the internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive online whiteboard. This board is specially designed to promote student/teacher interaction on the internet. Thanks to this educational tool, my online courses are as effective as home courses. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to take advantage of it.

Mathematics (Applied Math, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Geometry, IBM Exams, Entrance Exams): Primary/High School/Bachelor/Master Students
Mathematics is all about learning basic elements with which you can create explosions, interactions and much more desired computations. It is the heart of every science known and without it, even the text that I am writing right now would not work (recall binary numbers). I have always been passionate about Math and during primary and high school I attended many Regional Math Olympiads where I usually won the top 5 places. During this period, I got the chance to be trained by university professors and gained knowledge of many complex math concepts at a really young age. This made it possible for me to afterward be able to explain these concepts in a brief and clear manner to my fellow students. I aspire to visualize everything with everyday life and when students see this connection, the puzzle is finally solved. We can cover all of the branches of mathematics together at the desired level and degree level. Starting from Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Probability, Trigonometry and much more, we will build that mathematic intuition in no time!
