The focus is to learn how to speak Japanese and how to write Japanese. Also, you can practice speaking and listen to Japanese. I work in a hotel so you can learn about business and hospitality. Of course, you can learn casual Japanese too :) I’m glad that non-Japanese speakers want to learn Japanese and I’d like to help them. Konnichiwa! I am a native Japanese born in Yokohama, a city neighboring Tokyo, and I currently live in Geneve, Switzerland. I am fluent in both English and Japanese, and I plan to use both languages in my Japanese lessons. In my lessons, I focus on tailoring the content to each student’s goals and proficiency level. I use structured materials like “Minna no Nihongo” or "Genki" to build a solid foundation, while also including real-life conversation practice to help students learn Japanese they can actually use. It is challenging to explain grammar to young learners (ages 5 or 6 and above), so I use pictures and realia to conduct lessons. I learned this method through Association of Japanese Language for Children (AJLC) and hold a qualification as a Japanese language instructor for children. My goal is to create lessons that are fun and motivating, while also helping students see real progress in their Japanese skills! Learning a new language may be tough, but I also know it expands our world. I look forward to embarking on this adventure with everyone who wants to learn Japane.
