Spanish for everyone! From beginners and intermediate to advanced

I am a mexican who loves to cook since child and this class is for aspiring home cooks. You will learn how to cook real typical and homemade Mexican food (No Tex-Mex). If you are beginner, don't worry the recipes are very easy and with ingredients that you can find in The Netherlands. We can cook at my home or I can go to yours.

The class will be as you wish, we will meet your objectives at your pace. We can learn grammar and new vocabulary while speaking or reading. Whether you want to pass an exam, practice for your next holiday or be able to talk to your partner's family, all you need is the desire to learn Spanish and be consistent in your improvement. Most people need to revise the basics of language over and over again in order to master it, and having a good knowledge of how the language works at its core, i.e. its grammar, will help improve one's language skills drastically. I think the best way of learning a language is by familiarizing yourself with it. I therefore like to conduct my lessons mainly in the target language. Moreover, I will tailor my lesson to the students' needs, a language has 4 core parts (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), and each of us has different strong points and weaknesses when it comes to expressing ourselves in a second language. I will ways try to keep a relaxed learning environment where the student feels comfortable learning and making mistakes.

Hi, there! I'm Bárbara, 31 years old, from Mendoza, Argentina. I've got a degree in Language and Literature in Spanish. I've been teaching for ten years now, I have Russian, Ucranian, American and English students, apart from the school kids who I help with their school tasks. Although I count with different "Aula Internacional" and other spanish grammar books, I like to combine my classes with songs, films, tv shows and so on, in order to make the classes more fun! I'm bilingual too, I studied English in oxford and I sat (and passed) CAE and FIRST, so my English level is very good.
