I provide piano, voice, composition and music theory lessons for all levels and ages. 11 years of piano teaching and music theory experience. 8 years of composition teaching experience and 5 years of experience in GCSE preparation. Able to teach various genres. I have a holistic approach on piano teaching and an adaptable teaching style based on the ability, needs and aims of my tutees. A typical recommended lesson would be 1h, were I work on technique, theory and performance practice. I have a Masters of Music from Trinity Laban College of Music and Dance (London), studying under Roger Chase, and a Masters in Fine Art from Gothenburg University (Sweden) with Øvyor Volle (Vertavo Quartet). I also studied in the USA at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and Chicago College of Performing Arts. I work as a professional viola player across the UK and Scandinavia, with such orchestras as Bergen, Norwegian Radio, Gothenburg Symphony, Norrkoping Symphony, Jonkoping Sinfonietta, Aarhus Symphony, and English National Ballet Philharmonic. I am also a music arranger and transcriber. I can give lessons once or twice a week. Please note that twice a week does allow for fast progression. Lessons can be at my home in Kallhäll, or online via Skype or Zoom. Although I live in Sweden, I only teach in English. Qualifications MFA, MMus, BMus (Hons). VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.
