We are Paulina and Victor- a Polish-Cuban couple specializing in kizomba traditional/fusion and cuban salsa. We can give classes in English, Spanish, Polish, Italian and Portuguese. Victor has been a Cuban dance teacher from Havana, Cuba for 9 years with a lot of experience in all kinds of Latin and African dance adored by students of all ages. Paulina is a dance teacher who learned everything travelling around Latin America and getting the most valuable tips from different teachers in different styles and countries. Since 2018 we have been teaching together in dance schools, privately, and also during the RitmoCuba 2019 Festival in Havana. Currently, we are in Szczecin, Poland teaching privately and in groups and giving workshops in other cities :) We might be some weekends in Zurich, Switzerland so just contact us and maybe we can schedule a class! Keep calm and dance!:) Our goal is to make people feel comfortable in their own skin and teach them how to really feel more so they can be able to dance with anyone they meet on the dancefloor. We focus on delivering a solid base of how to lead and follow your partner instead of just learning choreographies (unless you ask for them). We are very patient and we believe that anybody CAN DANCE and enjoy it:) You just need to find your style:)

Italo, a dancer trained at the Conservátorio Cearense de Dança in Brazil, currently a dancer with the National Theatre in Belgrade in Serbia, has had a career of great effort and dedication alongside great professionals both during his period of studies in Brazil and in Italy, in which he has already received medals and trophies for prizes such as best dancer and scholarships!

Ciar is a recent graduate of Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance; a versatile queer dance artist freelancing in London with a background in Hip-Hop, Circus Arts, Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance. I hope to offer everyone an exciting and enjoyable time whilst pushing thier physical capabilities. Dance should be fun! My class explores a choreographic style of contemporary dance with clear influences from Cunningham technique and my recent expirience working with Jason Mabana. The work will challenge your coordination, rhythm, attention to detail and demostrate a contemporary application of classical teachnical forms, but all through explorative and original material. The class is structured like any other technical class, each exercise desinged to methodicaly warm up and work the body, building on the previous exercises, before culminating in a longer choreography where we can pull everything together and just have a boogie. I can tailor the work to each student however I would reccomend having some technical expirience, classical or contemporary.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris. I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings. After training in Ballet & Contemporary at Rambert School, I danced professionally for over a decade with companies such as Richard Alston Dance Company, National Dance Company Wales and Michael Clark Company. I can teach and coach on a range of contemporary dance styles, choreography and performance and audition skills. We will improve strength & flexibility, improve coordination and develop technique. I primarily danced with Cunningham technique but have good experience of other techniques such as Graham, release and Gaga. As a qualified physiotherapist, I can also teach about the anatomy of a dancer and how to look after the body and overcome injury. I look forward to supporting younger students to enjoy dance whilst also developing their technique, musicality and dance proficiency.
