With this tutoring class, my aim is to help the student to reach a level of understand of historical event with a methodology that is appropriate for the student and helps him/her. It can be a revision of basic notions seen in school or it can be the preparation of an exam .

Our history tells us where we come from and teaches us to understand where we are, while making us reflect on where we want to go. What our ancestors did, learned and created is now a fundamental part of who we are today.

History is what connects the present to the past and helps us to predict the future. In my class, you will learn modern european history, in particular the history of Germany from 1918 to 1989. You will be taught by a world class teacher that has studied European history to a high level, gaining an A in the subject. The key aspects of the history of Germany will be broken down into manageable chunks for students to understand more easily. The classes are delivered through interactive learning consisting of kahoot quizes, powerpoint slides and asking questions to students. By making these classes fun and engaging, my aim is for students to always come away learning something they did not know before. All students of any age are welcome to join this class. My requirement for this class is for students to ask as many questions as possible because no question is a bad question, we are all here to learn!

The course focuses on the great historical narratives of the West and the Latin American region, from prehistory to contemporary times. The topics are presented in a synthesized and digestible way, focusing on the most relevant events of each period to build a general vision of the history of human beings. The option of studying a specific period or historical event in depth is also offered at the student's request. The methodology used in the course is predominantly active (Learning based on problems, challenges, by discovery, etc.) And sometimes some of the avant-garde.

The teacher is a Ugandan PhD student in International History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He won a Government of Uganda Scholarship to pursue his undergraduate studies at Gulu University, gaining a first-class degree in Bachelor of Arts Education (History and Economics). Isa is also a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he studied for an MPhil in African Studies as a Commonwealth Scholar. He has more than eight years of teaching experience, both at the secondary school and university level. In the past, he has taught classes on European, British, African, US, Asian, and Middle East histories. My history classes are suitable for the 10, 11, 12, and 13-year-old UK and IGCSE students (Cambridge International Curriculum) and AS and A-Level students (UK and Cambridge International). The learners will study history from political, economic, cultural, and social perspectives. They will develop an interest in understanding the past. This class will discuss the entirety breadth of Roman history, from the Roman Kingdom to the fall of the Roman Republic in 476 AD, with room for discussing the Eastern Roman Empire which exists much longer, until its fall in 1453 to the Ottomans.

This class is for fellow history lovers or those looking to learn more about history. I have a keen personal interest in various eras of history and a high knowledge on said eras. I mainly specialize in historical warfare, alike the second world war or the Napoleonic wars, as well at the politics of the eras of interest. This class is for mainly beginners, for people who wish to gain either more information on a specific historical era / event, or those who wish to learn about them in its entirety. This all being said, my main historical learning points range from the 1600s to modern day, anything previous and youll find me lacking, please keep this in mind when picking me! And again, keep in mind i mainly focus on the Warfare aspects and Political aspects.

Having achieved a 9 for GCSE History and an A in A Level History, as well as continuing to study History at Oxford University, I have had experience with a variety of different periods of History and am extremely passionate!
