Mechanics of Materials / Resistance of Materials - for Engineers
Mechanics of Materials is a foundational course in engineering that explores the behavior of materials under various loading conditions. In this course, students study the relationship between external forces applied to a material and the resulting internal stresses and strains. Topics covered include axial loading, torsion, bending, and combined loading, as well as stress and strain analysis in beams, columns, and shafts. Through theoretical concepts and practical applications, students learn to analyze and design structural components to ensure they can withstand the loads placed upon them while maintaining structural integrity and safety. Mechanics of Materials is essential for engineers in fields such as civil, mechanical, aerospace, and materials engineering, providing a fundamental understanding of how materials behave under different mechanical conditions.

About Me
Every person is born with a unique way of viewing things, and some courses tend to require different ways of thinking that we might not have.I am here to help you see the other perspective, the easier road, or if possible help you view things your way in a simplified manner.
As a third-year mechanical engineer at one of the top universities in the middle east, I have helped many of my peers and younger students successfully pass their courses while retaining all of the information for future courses.
Some of the courses I can help you with are:
-Calculus : all levels
-Algebra and differential geometry : all levels
-Physics : Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Resistance of Materials, Electronics, Electromagnetics and Electrostatics,..
-Coding (Algorithms, C++, flowcharts, numerical methods, ...)
-Other core engineering courses
Education
University : Lebanese University - Faculty of Engineering 2 - Roumieh, LebanonMajor : Mechanical Engineering - third year student
4.0 Cumulative GPA (83/100 relatively to the french grading system)
Experience / Qualifications
5 years of experience teaching students of all ages and all fields, mostly senior high schoolers3 years of experience in the field of engineering in various subjects
Dynamics is a branch of physics and engineering mechanics that studies the motion of objects and systems under the influence of forces. In this course, students delve into the principles governing the behavior of particles and rigid bodies in motion. Topics covered include kinematics, which describes the motion without regard to its causes, and kinetics, which focuses on the forces causing the motion. Students learn Newton's laws of motion, the principles of work and energy, and the concepts of impulse and momentum. Additionally, they explore rotational motion, including angular velocity, angular acceleration, and moments of inertia. Through theoretical study and practical applications, students develop the ability to analyze and predict the motion of objects and systems, essential for fields such as mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, and physics.
Mechanical Engineering courses can be hard to understand, considering that most of the subjects require a deep understanding of the laws governing any phenomena, intense mathematical skills, and the ability to visualize concepts and ideas.
I am here to help you get through them as smoothly as possible, with one-on-one Tutoring sessions, where we will get to dive deeper into any doubts and questions you might have, helping you ace your exams and finish any course smoothly.
Statics is an introductory course in engineering mechanics that focuses on the analysis of forces acting on stationary objects or structures. Through this course, students learn the fundamental principles of equilibrium, including the resolution and composition of forces, moments, and couples. Topics typically covered include vector algebra, free-body diagrams, trusses, frames, centroids, and moments of inertia. The course serves as a foundation for understanding more complex engineering concepts and is essential for fields such as civil, mechanical, and aerospace engineering.

Aerospace Engineering TU Delft - Selection Exam PreparationThe TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bachelor is one of the most prestigious bachelor programmes the Netherlands has to offer. With it being highly sought-after by students all around the globe, there is a highly competitive selection procedure which needs to be completed to get admitted to this popular degree. A massive part of this admission procedure is the selection exam, consisting of three different tests: Mathematics, Physics and First-Year Material.
As a cum laude graduated Aerospace Engineer at TU Delft, who has also been tutoring since 2017, I have a lot of valuable experience and knowledge of the program to help you out with the right preparation to get in. Moreover, after having successfully helped around 10 students get a spot over the last two years, I have decided to continue preparing an additional custom lesson plan for each student, with the admission syllabus as its basis.
With my calm and stepwise explanation, weaker topics will be addressed, and your solution procedures will be polished. Each lesson will either be theory, exercise-based or an opportunity to talk about the admission, student life, Delft, what to expect from the study and whether it is the right fit for you.

Fluid mechanics and Thermo dynamic and heat transferHydrostatic pressure is the pressure exerted by a fluid at rest due to the force of gravity. It increases with depth because the weight of the fluid above presses down on the fluid below. The hydrostatic pressure at a certain depth in a liquid is calculated using the formula

I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter.
If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)
