History is what connects the present to the past and helps us to predict the future. In my class, you will learn modern european history, in particular the history of Germany from 1918 to 1989. You will be taught by a world class teacher that has studied European history to a high level, gaining an A in the subject. During our first interview, I suggest discussing with the student their needs and difficulties. In philosophy, it is often a question of going over the course again, working on the method (dissertation, text commentary), and exploring some references in more depth. Subsequently, the course is often structured around a question, a theme or a subject of philosophy, which we learn to deal with together. I also support people in preparatory classes, having myself studied in B/L for two years.
