I am a student of Classical Philology at the University of Valencia, with great teaching skills and ease of explanations. Latin, Ancient Greek, English and Spanish are the foundations of the study of the humanities in Spain. Classical languages are essential to be able to understand our language and a great help in learning other languages. My teaching methodology is to consolidate the foundations of the subject with simple but well-explained examples, with the aim of improving the understanding of languages from their roots.

Ancient Greek is one of the oldest languages in the world. A multitude of literary and philosophical texts have been written in this language. Later, Latin will take up many elements of the heritage of ancient Greek. Today, about 10% of the words in the French language have an ancient Greek origin. Our educational exchange aims to understand ancient Greek culture and Western European culture in general. Although it is a dead language, ancient Greek can instill values in us, broaden our horizons and even help us understand French better. At first we will study the alphabet and the general rules of word formation. With the help of mythology and texts (philosophical, literary and others), you will be able to understand basic words, phrases and expressions and get to know the world of ancient Greece. Finally, in Modern Greek, you can prepare for all levels, from A1 to C2.

As a graduate with a BA in Latin and Ancient Greek and a MA in Biblical Hebrew, I offer private Latin, Ancient Greek, and Biblical Hebrew classes both for students who seek private tutoring and for those who wish to learn these languages even more in-depth. My classes a personalised according to the student's need: understanding school material, preparing for exams, or advancing language skill. In all instances, there is emphasis both on grammar and reading literature appropriate for the student's level.
