I have always been fascinated by science and now I hold a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Geneva. Science subjects can help you pass exams. As a Master of Data Science student at EPFL, mathematics is an important part of my academic curriculum. During my studies, I had the opportunity to act as a student assistant at EPFL in various courses in the Computer Science section. These experiences allowed me to develop a teaching spirit. I really enjoy passing on my knowledge and helping students develop their reasoning skills. My goal is to make people love mathematics, offer an intuitive understanding of the topics covered in order to guide students towards better results and greater autonomy.

Hello I am from Morocco and I am very passionate about science. I am currently a student at EPFL and I make available my knowledge in Mathematics and Physics for support and academic support courses in all levels from primary to secondary. I am only available on weekends, however I can travel wherever suits you, around Lausanne. I can give the course in person as well as remotely (by zoom/Google Meet). I quickly noticed that the problem often comes from understanding the exercises given rather than the course itself, so here's how I like to proceed: I always start by first making sure that the principle of the course is understood by focusing on the points that block, and then we can start looking at the exercises, given by the teacher, that pose a problem. The goal is that at the end of the rehearsal course, the student has in his hands cards with the different methods used to solve all the possible types of exercises, especially those requested in the exam. I myself take care of preparing these sheets during the rehearsal course in order to summarize all the methods acquired.

I am a 21 year old student at HEIA in civil engineering and wish to become a professor at the end of my bachelor or master. Many students are preparing for the start of the new school year at EPFL, but many of them are lost and don't know where to start. Some drag gaps from gymnasium/college with them, which prevent them from starting to learn/relearn math and physics and prepare well for the start of the school year. In this course, I propose to supervise the student in his preparation. This course is adapted to the level in mathematics (standard and advanced) and physics (standard) of all sections of EPFL*.
