Hello i’m Massimiliano, a professional musician and composer from Italy living in Rotterdam since six years. I play clarinet and saxophone and I graduated from Codarts Rotterdam three years ago! I love to share my passion for music with my students and currently i am teaching at home and also doing workshops for small kids around the city! My name is Abraham, and I’m a third year jazz piano student at Codarts Rotterdam. I have been playing for 14 years, most of which were spent in classical music. I teach all levels and styles (classical, pop, jazz, etc.). It can be with or without theory, depending on what you prefer. It's also not important if you cannot read music, I can help you with that as well. If you are already a singer, we will work in order to refine your technique. Voice, breathing, and posture are connected and fundamental for a healthy technique so we will also work on that while we focus on your voice. Singing can be very personal and confronting but do not fear, we work in a safe environment. Let yourself be surprised with what you can achieve!! Music has been my life since I am 7 years old. I am a professional clarinetist that has just graduated from the University of Arts in Rotterdam (Codarts). I studied the career at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón, and I am currently studying a Master of Interpretation at the University of Codarts, Rotterdam. I have received classes from important national and international cellists and have played with national and international orchestras. Teaching has always been a point of interest for me. At the same time that I was studying my degree, I was teaching cellists of all ages, which is why I have experience in the educational field. I am an italian bass player, I'm 25 years old and actually I am finishing the last year of my bachelor in jazz music at Codarts. If you're a beginner i will teach you the basics of the instrument and the basics of musical theory (wich is essential to be a good bass player). We will also dive into various musical genres, trying to have a complete approach to music as possible. If you already play bass and want to improve your skills or your knowledge of musical theory i will teach you some advanced techniques and focus on advanced harmony and studies for improvisation. We will also work on finding your own voice on the instrument and learning how to create original basslines

My name is Davide and my music experience started when I was 10 years old during my middle school in Italy. I started playing cello and I kept on studying classical music for 8 years, performing as a soloist and in many orchestras and ensembles. In the meanwhile, I started being interested in electronic music and composition for soundtracks. When I turned 17 I realized that music would have been my passion and my job. I graduated in “Contemporary Writing and Production” at Pescara Conservatory in Italy. During these studies, I dove deeper into Pop and Experimental Electronic Music, orchestration, and orchestral composition. I also had the opportunity to play in different bands and discover different genres such as Post Rock, Progressive Metal, and Heavy Metal. After my bachelor's degree, I finished my studies following a Master's program at Codarts (Rotterdam) in Creative Production. During those two years, I had the opportunity to collaborate with many people and explore different kinds of music (Turkish, Flamenco, Jazz, etc.). I wrote an Artistic Research about electronic unquantized music by analyzing the sound of producers such as Flume, Burial, and Arca. Now that my studies are finished I feel that I want to spread my knowledge and my passion to many people as possible. My class subjects are: - Music Production (from beginners to expert level, mainly Ableton Live and Pro Tools classes) - Cello Lessons (from beginners to intermediate level) - Music Theory (from beginners to expert level) - Composition and Orchestration (explore the world and joy of composing for an orchestra and how to use your DAW as a real symphonic orchestra). As a Producer, I want to let the student feel completely free to ask me whatever he/she wants. I have had many experiences as a producer and I know how to handle many different genres. My first teaching experience was at 17 years old and from that moment on I did not change my teaching set-up. My name is Renzo Navone, a guitar player from Uruguay, based in Rotterdam, and in my career, I have achieved several music experiences by approaching different musical genres such as Brazilian, Cuban, classical, jazz, and pop music. During the lessons, we will dig into different technique approaches by taking care of sound, posture harmony, and ear training. We will approach also songs by analyzing different aspects mentioned above, and the rhythmic aspect too. Thanks to my study path, (jazz and contemporary music degree at Liceu, in Barcelona and the Bachelor in Latin music at Codarts, in Rotterdam) I will be able to prepare students who want to apply for auditions in musical institutes.
