Hello everyone, my name is Bardia an experienced and enthusiastic violin teacher in Rotterdam. The key words for my teaching are fun and personal development. What matters the most to me is to have students feeling at ease with my teaching and feeling motivated after a lesson. This is why we will be playing lots of pieces together in duos, trying to develop complicity at your own pace, no rush ever. Last but not least, I also want to train and instruct students to reach a high mental level so as to express themselves free from constraints and stresses. I graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2017 and I finished my Master in Early Music in Utrecht Conservatory in April 2024.

Hello everyone! My name is Jacintha, a violinist from Malaysia. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in London and a Master of Ethnomusicology degree in Ireland. In this violin course, you will learn how to play the violin with good intonation and develop your rhythm by learning your favorite repertoires. Music theory is included for beginners.

With these violin lessons I would like to transmit to the student my knowledge with violin, as well as the passion for music. It is easy when learning an instrument to get frustrated because of the difficulties, but with a balance between good habits and focus on having fun with expressivity, it ensures that the student enjoys the process and improves in the results. Open to all levels and music styles, in my lessons students will experience an open playground or lab, where they find in the violin and music a great source of creativity. In addition, with my experience for many years and a bachelor of music in violin (Codarts), I will work to establish in the student proper habits for the violin to ensure the optimal conditions, but always with fun, no matter the expectatives with the instruments ( mild hobby, amateur, professional). Duration of lessons: 60 min is a regular lesson. 30 min lesson possible for children ( young children usually do not hold longer periods with focus in the beggining).

In the lessons, you will also learn some basic theory, reading music, and basic rhythms. From the beginning, you will be playing some nice, simple tunes and violin duets. The lessons are held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. ADVANCED STUDENTS In our first lesson, we will talk about students’ needs expectations, and level of abilities and choose the right repertoire for you. If you need some help with music theory – I can also help you with pleasure! Lessons are available in English, Polish and basic Dutch (level A2) and take place in the heart of the Rotterdam City-Center!

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play an instrument but you never had the time to enroll in a music school? Are you currently studying the Violin/Viola and you want some tips on how to practice more efficiently? My lessons are meant for every age and level, every lesson is tailored to the needs and peculiarity of each student. You will find a relaxed and stimulating environment in which I will guide you towards the achievement of your learning goals. The lessons last 1 hour long and will take place at my house or yours. Online lessons are possible but preferably only as a backup every once in a while.

The idea is to have the basic notions to be able to work a string organic. You will study how to write for each string instrument: violin, viola, cello and double bass. Also how to work together, whether for a trio, quartet or thinking about a larger organization like an orchestra.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
