I am Natalia, a piano musician and music writer. I compose my own music pieces on the piano, music tracks in different genres including, for example, film scores, pop songs and classical music. Today, a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for teaching, I entered the Conservatory of Music very early on to learn piano and music theory: at the age of 6. For a little over a year, I have been teaching children between the ages of 4 and 6. My lessons are presented as a fun musical awakening: - know how to stand in front of a piano, - hand positioning, fingering, - learning rhythm and scales, - note recognition, - musical discovery and listening. However, I propose to accompany any beginner, whatever their age (child, teenager, adult). I mainly travel to homes, my Casio piano keyboard on my back, to offer those who do not yet have one the opportunity to try and tame the instrument.

My method is based on serious and rigorous practice (while taking into account the student's ambitions) as well as learning most often by ear. This is indeed how music can be truly integrated over the long term. I would be delighted to work with serious and determined students.

I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony. Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes. English, Nederlands, française, Deutsch. I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students. I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello organ, and piano.

Hello ! I offer piano lessons for young people wishing to discover music. And also musical awareness courses which include the discovery of music, piano and music theory. We work on the rhythm and the notes of the staff and we finish by working on the scales on the piano and small pieces depending on the level of the student.
