Dear future students :) Nice to meet you! I'm Rebeka, a jazz vocalist, composer and musician based in Amsterdam. I am holding a bachelor and a master degree in jazz singing from the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Besides being a singer and performer, my other passion is teaching and connecting to people through music. I am aiming to help my students finding their strengths and uniqueness and encouraging them how to overcome any challenges that come on their way. I believe that creating a safe and friendly environment always allow the students to easily unfold and deal with their barriers. On the lessons, we will be focusing on your personal growth and creating your own routine that will help you to achieve your goal. Working on breathing, posture, and certain exercises that will guide you how to control your own body and instrument and learn how to be precent on stage feeling confident and free. On the other hand, we will be diving into the important aspects of writing and arranging, and gain valuable knowledge of music theory that comes together with it. I play drums in many different groups, bands, collectives, projects. I have been playing Drums for 13 years, beginning with Rock music and then moved to Jazz where I studied jazz drums at the Conservatory of music and ballet Ljubljana. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. Lessons at home or at the student's home (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Schaerbeek, Saint-Josse, Evere and other neighboring municipalities, occasionally in Walloon Brabant). Classes can be given in French, English or Spanish.

I can help students with their piano exams and theory exams. I also have experience teaching beginner students. My goal is to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument and in the lessons. I also aim to make every student coming out of the lesson feel motivated to practice and want to do their best.

Every student, who wants to learn music will have to learn Music Theory. This discipline is necessary to learn music instrument, voice, composition e.t.c. How ro read scores, what is rhythm and how to count, how to find a key of the piece and many other questions will be answered through this course. After this course, student will be ready to learn Solfeggio and then Music Harmony. After learning all these music disciplines, student will be ready to learn music form, polyphony, instrumentation, arrangement and composition.
