Learning creative process from a real artist (drawing and/or painting)

Nuno Saxophone Studio opened in 2021, as a personal company in the industrial dutch city of Tilburg. Already more than 20 students and professionals from all levels and ages (7-70) trust Nuno to help them to reach their optimize playing. The studio is a safe space to learn and to discover your trues artistic expression, Nuno relies on more than 15 years of pedagogical experience! By being part of this studio you have the opportunity to work on solo skills as well create your own combo and ensemble, playing in our student concerts. The lessons can be used for personal leisure as a hobby, preparing for a concert, masterclasses, workshop, competition, HaFaBra exams or even conservatorium audition. He's the organizer of the festival Tilburg Sax Summit.

Drawing often seems intimidating for the fact that once you start drawing, you are expected to soon be advanced, skilful and know how to do figure, technical, academical drawing. One of the most important things that I learned through the process of drawing, painting, sketching, is how to relax your body and mind to transfer your soul onto paper, canvas, how to let your curiosity, imagination intertwine with the blissful nature of art. I want to encourage people to seek their own inner voice rather than to copy what's already been done, what I have struggled with for years, even during my lessons in an art school. I want to encourage people to let go of comparing themselves, their skills, abilities, motivation to others and find the pure beauty in passion and love. To free what we often suppress.

Whether it is as a new hobby or just pursuing a passion, I will teach you various techniques for drawing and sketching. I have been drawing for my whole life and been practicing/testing different methods and materials. I am almost a self taught, although I did attend to drawing classes at ‘Les Beaux Arts’, a french drawing academy in the French Riviera. Drawing is meant to be fun and relaxing, so I will try to ensure that you spend a nice time while getting creative and perfecting your technique. Everyone can be creative!

I have lots of lecturer experiences in Design, Sketching, Drawing and Rendering as well as Perspective Rule at several Artistic Collages for more than 5 years (for Designers, architectures, painters and others). and Also, I have written a book under publishing in the area of Sketching and Rendering. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.
