Hi, My name is Cathrine. I have completed my IB diploma at Birkerød Gymnasium. I am currently pursuing my degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. I am originally from Malaysia but I have been living in Denmark for the past 5 years. However, English is my first language. I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the language. Therefore, during the lesson, I will incorporate tasks and activities involving these 3 aspects. We will also go through basic grammar rules that will be useful for both writing and daily conversations. I will provide printed worksheets and assignments (included in the fees of the lesson) to be done during the lesson and also as homework. Workbooks may be provided at an additional cost which you can work with on your own at home after the lesson. This is of course highly recommended for your own benefit as practice makes perfect. I am a South Korean poet and actor. I currently live in the Netherlands. Last year, I taught children at a Korean language school in Eindhoven. Because I was an actor, my Korean pronunciation is very accurate and can be of great help in developing your Korean conversation skills. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.
