Italian, lessons and conversation

The goal of this course will be to speak to you as much as possible without necessarily taking into account mistakes at the beginning for beginners. At the end of our exchange there will be a written course trace with your errors so as not to repeat them again. This written record will be in the form of a revision sheet to retain the essentials.

Graduated in International Relations and Social and Solidarity Economy. I am Italian and I live for three years in Lyon. I do courses for learning and knowledge of the Italian language and culture. Lesson numbers, frequency and schedules are at the discretion of interested parties. If you want to learn, improve your knowledge of Italian, do not hesitate to contact me.

I'm a current university student in the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting and I offer classes to to people who want to improve and/or practise a foreign language (Italian, Spanish, French). My teaching method focuses on the needs of the students. Each class is personalised depending on the aspects of the language that the student wants to improve (speaking, grammar, writing, comprehension). The classes are interactive and involve games and online ressources.

I am a teacher of Italian mother tongue, graduated (bac + 5) in foreign languages and translation (French and English). I give private lessons of English and Italian at home for all levels (from beginner to advanced) and all ages (students, students and adults). I will suggest a program tailored to your needs and interests to help you reach your goal (academic upgrading, speaking, taking an exam, business language, traveling abroad, etc.).

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living in Rome. I have 10 years teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests and availability of the student. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

Is the grammar too complicated? Are the words difficult to memorize? If you find these difficulties with traditional methods, I am the right person for you. My name is Francesco and after completing a Master's degree in Philosophy I decided to dedicate myself to teaching Italian, first in Italian public schools and then privately. I am certified by the DILIT School in Rome as a teacher of Italian LS/L2 and I am TESOL certified in English, and in both cases what I have learned is that learning languages should above all be fun. I organize lessons adapted to each type of need, building a relationship of trust with my students based on their personal goals. Whether for work, as a hobby or to flirt, I will give you the tools to systematically and progressively learn the languages of Dante and the Maneskins, providing you with all the material you need.

Italian is a wonderful language for its diversity and musicality, which fascinates people all over the world. Obviously, it is a language that requires application and practice for its learning. This is why I organize my courses in a hybrid way: For beginners : First, we will learn how to read and pronounce words correctly, as well as the first basic constructions for communicating (subject, verb, complement). Secondly, we will discover the different phenomena of the Italian language, focusing on their use. The goal is to start expressing simple thoughts, while communicating and having fun learning the language. For intermediaries: We will deepen the knowledge of the language and consolidate basic constructions, while adding new knowledge. The goal at this level is to begin to express more complex thoughts and, above all, to be able to express oneself independently. For the advanced: The enrichment of the Italian language and the expression of emotions and opinions will be at the heart of our work. The materials I use come from books, manuals, videos, podcasts, and are personalized for each of my students.

Italian is one of the most beautiful language in the whole world; and what’s better than learning it from an Italian girl without having to move from your couch? Absolutely nothing. I’m Lara and I’m a 21 years old student in Pavia. I’d love to introduce you to this language via webcam online. I speak English very fluently as well and I’m also nice and used to be around children, if you need lessons for your younger son or daughter.

In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).

Hello everyone! I'm Giorgia and I come from Torino, Italy. I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language. I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments. Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages. The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above). I use a book that I integrate with different materials. Conversation is very important, but so is listening and understanding a text. I offer Italian lessons for adults using a specific, very lively and effective method that will allow you to understand, read books in Italian, watch films in the original version and above all to express yourself quickly, with a solid grammatical foundation, in everyday life, but also to have rich conversations with your interlocutors. Possibility of face-to-face or video lessons, at your convenience, knowing that my video lessons are just as interactive and lively as in person.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
