The student will be able to see different places in the capital of Spain without leaving the classroom and learn Spanish. My learning idea is based on interactive activities between my student and me, with word games, card games to improve the syllabi. I will also bring printed exercises for the denser syllabi and for reading comprehension activities in Spanish. We will see a text in which different topics will be discussed and the student must understand what each paragraph says. For this last exercise, I will use the texts and printed images from my printed edition of Guía de Madrid. This course suggests that we enter a level of English that allows you to deal with your personal life and your professional life. Furthermore, the idea is to be able to talk about the media, to function in different environments. It is also important in this course to think about eating. How nice it is to know how to order a good plate of food or go to a gym knowing how to talk to people. Here you can delve into the different greetings and means of establishing contact with Spanish. My learning idea is based on interactive activities between my student and me, with word games, card games to improve the syllabi. Trusted teacher: I am a Spanish native teacher, with extensive experience teaching Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I learnt methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My classes are dynamic and centred on the student's progress, carrying out different interactive activities, role-playing and exercises that will make the student increase his/her confidence with the use of Spanish, whilst learning grammar and vocabulary. I usually give the students the opportunity to send me writings that I correct at home, and I recommend listening activities that will help the student to improve his/her understanding of the language during lessons. My complete proficiency of the English language makes it easier for the student to ask specific questions or to understand how some expressions work in Spanish, having my English explanation at hand (in order to make them fully understand the most difficult aspect of Spanish). With a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language, Yimer is obviously very qualified but he also has a gift of teaching that is very effective in making progress on the learning journey. Part of this has to be in his patience and being a teacher that has a way of explaining things, both in English and Spanish, that make learning easier. I have had quite a few Spanish tutors over the years but Yimer, is clearly the best.

Diego is fantastic! He is exactly what I have been looking for. I had done some group Spanish classes before but had a total blockage when it came to speaking. Diego is helping me overcome my fear. We are focusing on practical Spanish that helps me build up confidence to speak in daily situations. It's already working and I am beginning to be less terrified of situations where I have to speak Spanish!

Sandra is an excellent teacher - she's extremely knowledgeable of spanish grammar and vocabulary, and is very good at explaining difficult concepts in a simple way. She clearly put a lot of effort into every lesson, which resulted in me improving quite a lot in just a few lessons. Best of all she's a great person who is fun to talk with. Every class was truly enjoyable.
