History and geography courses are essential to understand the world around us and also represent a strong coefficient in studies (before the baccalaureate). These subjects are also a key source of general culture, it is important to nourish them. Moreover, English, especially in our time, allows us to travel but also to be able to express ourselves with as many people as possible. Hello! My name is Kate and I am an Australian who is has been living in France since 2019. I am fluent in French and English is obviously my native language. My educational background: I hold a Masters of Art Therapy from The University of Paris with a major in music therapy, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with majors in Music and Psychology, and a Diploma of Languages with a major in French from The University of Queensland, Australia. As a native English speaker my goal is to instill confidence in my students (of all ages) of their ability to speak, use, and understand English. I use a variety of interactive methods including songs, actions, rhymes, books, and music. I am firm believer in 'trying' and as such I will encourage my students to use their English, regardless of how many faults they may make. It is only from making errors, that we can improve!
