Trusted teacher: I am a native American English speaking instructor, editor, and journalist from Florida specializing in teaching, instruction, exam prep, and text correction for a wide range of professionals & students across Belgium. Approaching from a true native's perspective, I instruct and assist with both educational and business English in a multi-faceted nature covering a wide range of areas including comprehension, conversation, grammar, and situational skills, in addition to working on general language skills and accent training. My past & present clients have included: professionals from all four major EU institutions, the Belgian government, various NGOs, and musicians, journalists, engineers, as well as a variety of other professions in addition to traditional students. As well, I can provide extensive help and training with the EPSO, IELTS, and TOEFL exams. I have also written, edited or proofread a variety of academic papers, theses, applications, CVs, and other documents for numerous satisfied academic and professional clients. I have spent my entire childhood and adult life in the United States before completing a master's degree in Political Science and European Politics at KU Leuven. I have an extensive knowledge and experience of English grammar and literature, as well as current and past working experience in journalism (Anti-Competition Law and European Policy at the Policy and Regulatory Report) and both European and American politics. I also handle correction of text, editing, proofreading and ghostwriting, with weekly and monthly rates possible. My transportation costs are included.

Welcome everyone! My goal: to make learning French fun, enriching and accessible to everyone. I have set up an attractive and fun teaching method, specially designed to support young people and adults who encounter difficulties, particularly in French. Whether you are illiterate or experiencing academic difficulties, I am here to support you with my skills and experience. I take a specific approach to help those who have difficulty expressing themselves correctly in French, whether written or spoken. Because French is much more than a language: it is a key that opens you to the world! Here is a testimonial: 'Teacher in UPE2A at the Jean Jaurès school, my system welcomes allophone students of all ages and nationalities. Mrs. DEBLANGY spoke to a group of six students aged seven to twelve, of Tamil and Egyptian origin. These interventions have enabled: - To develop a quality of listening, of attention to writing - To develop memory - To develop understanding of texts read in the form of fun exercises (depending on the children's abilities and their progress in acquiring French). - To develop, through exercises such as crosswords associating an image with a word, a reading and writing of French adapted to their difficulty. - To understand different cultures, different ways of living. This notion is all the more interesting for students from different nationalities. The advantage of these interventions lies in the fact that they are multidisciplinary exercises that involve the child as an actor in relation to what is proposed to him. He is not passive. As a teacher, it is useful to note that students need a situation (conditioning, comparison with their culture) to be attentive when reading the story. It is imperative to make them participate actively with fun and varied exercises so as not to create boredom, and to assess the acquisition of the concepts covered, which she succeeded brilliantly.' The main interest lies above all in the pleasure of reading stories, of taking hold of them to bring a feeling of success in discovering the French language and its vocabulary. Join me on Apprentus to make the French language not only a skill, but a joy to share. I look forward to meeting you to help the French language grow together. See you soon!

Justin
Justin is a true professional and is really gifted at helping job seekers in their career path. He assisted me a lot with career advice, job application adaptation and proofreading. He is really good at communication, reading between the lines, and highlighting the core idea. Our lessons or as I would rather call it a master class, were absolutely great and easy going. Thank you very much, Justin, for your amazing approach, custom-made professional and easy attitude, and a super international mindset. I would very much recommend it!

Hélène
Helen is an incredible teacher, I look forward to every class I have with her. She explains things very well and you can tell she is invested in you learning the language. She makes you feel very comfortable which is important when learning a new language. I’ve been practicing with her for just over a month and I can feel my French getting so much better. I would highly recommend her class to anyone who is looking to practice their language skills.

Spanish for all ages, for travel, studies or work! (Barcelona)
Florencia
Florencia welcomed us with different activities to find out about our level of Spanish. The lessons gave plenty of speaking opportunities. She took the time to analyse the mistakes made on Spanish exams to find ways of improving. After each lesson, Florencia gave us links for more online excersices and the notes to the lesson. She was friendly, accommodating, patient and non-judging - a great teacher
