Welcome everyone! My goal: to make learning French fun, enriching and accessible to everyone. I have set up an attractive and fun teaching method, specially designed to support young people and adults who encounter difficulties, particularly in French. Whether you are illiterate or experiencing academic difficulties, I am here to support you with my skills and experience. I take a specific approach to help those who have difficulty expressing themselves correctly in French, whether written or spoken. Because French is much more than a language: it is a key that opens you to the world! Here is a testimonial: 'Teacher in UPE2A at the Jean Jaurès school, my system welcomes allophone students of all ages and nationalities. Françoise spoke to a group of six students aged seven to twelve, of Tamil and Egyptian origin. These interventions have enabled: - To develop a quality of listening, of attention to writing - To develop memory - To develop understanding of texts read in the form of fun exercises (depending on the children's abilities and their progress in acquiring French). - To develop, through exercises such as crosswords associating an image with a word, a reading and writing of French adapted to their difficulty. - To understand different cultures, different ways of living. This notion is all the more interesting for students from different nationalities. The advantage of these interventions lies in the fact that they are multidisciplinary exercises that involve the child as an actor in relation to what is proposed to him. He is not passive. As a teacher, it is useful to note that students need a situation (conditioning, comparison with their culture) to be attentive when reading the story. It is imperative to make them participate actively with fun and varied exercises so as not to create boredom, and to assess the acquisition of the concepts covered, which she succeeded brilliantly.' The main interest lies above all in the pleasure of reading stories, of taking hold of them to bring a feeling of success in discovering the French language and its vocabulary. Join me on Apprentus to make the French language not only a skill, but a joy to share. I look forward to meeting you to help the French language grow together. See you soon !

Hi, I’m Cassie—a British jazz saxophonist, award-winning composer, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire graduate, now based in Berlin. I’m currently looking for a couple of private saxophone and/or composition students who are keen to develop their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Saxophone Lessons: With a strong background in Jazz and improvised music, I offer saxophone lessons tailored to each student’s needs—whether you’re preparing for ABRSM or Royal College exams (or other equivalent examination boards), exploring jazz improvisation, or just playing for fun. As a performer, I’ve played at major festivals and venues across the UK, USA & Europe such as Glastonbury Festival (UK, SXSW (USA) and Paris Jazz Festival (FR). I am still active as a touring band-leader/artist and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching. Composition Lessons: As a classical composer, my work spans orchestral, chamber, and jazz ensemble writing, with commissions from leading arts organisations and orchestras - recent commissions include the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic. My lessons focus on notation, orchestration, and arranging—whether you’re composing for small ensembles or larger-scale works. I hold a BMus Hons degree in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London) where I studied with American composer Stephen Montague and British composer Andrew Poppy. Composition lessons I am able to teach both in-person and online via Zoom. If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to get in touch! Looking forward to making music with you! 🎷🎼

My name is Hélène. I have lived abroad for over 25 years: in Great Britain where I taught French, then in Belgium where I worked on different projects with the European institutions, and finally in Italy for 20 years where I was called upon to teach Frech to Foreigners at the University of Turin and where, at the same time, I directed cultural projects related to Francophone litterature in an institution called il Circolo dei Lettori. My way of teaching French as a Foreign Language is different from formalised learning processes, it is pragmatic, progressive and tailor-made. Why? First of all, because, before I became a teacher, I have been confronted to learning other languages: English, then Spanish, Portuguese and finally Italian. I have thus understood what is useful, mainly what is not, to enter another language, what gives the satisfaction of rapid progress in speaking, understanding, and writing... without approaches that are too often useless, time-consuming and costly for an unsatisfactory results. The FLE tuition, that is to say French as a Foreign Language, is intended for those who wish to learn French in order to be able to live in French-speaking environnement. However, it can also be of grat help for children/teens who do not have the grammatical fundamentals in order to be better at school. A language, any language, cannot be acquired just "at random", it has a structure, the grammar through which we must progress to learn. DON'T PANIC, GRAMMAR CAN BE APPROACHED WITH FUN & PLEASURE! My approach is TAILOR-MADE TO EACH, SO THAT FRENCH CAN BE USEFUL TO YOU IN REAL LIFE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. All my many students so far have liked the progression I give to my lessons and the relevance of my pedagogical approach, serious and easy-going at the same time.

My name is Anita, and I am an interdisciplinary neurodivergent artist. I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations. My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others. This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market. The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases: Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests. Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches. Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators. Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), traditional animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, creative writing, and music (the art of songwriting). A Purposeful, Transparent Approach I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. I strive to be straightforward in a respectful and encouraging manner, communicating if a child may not be suited for this path. A Valuable Investment in Thinking & Creativity Even if a student ultimately chooses a non-artistic career, this course fosters critical and creative thinking, which are essential skills for any field. The knowledge gained here is never wasted; it’s an investment in adaptability, innovation, and problem-solving abilities that transcend the arts.
