Portfolio Preparation for Graphic Design course applications
Undergraduate Graphic Design courses in the UK receive more applications than places on the course. Therefore your portfolio must show your enthusiasm for learning Graphic Design, and represent who you are as a creative and thinking individual. Within my undergraduate teaching, I have reviewed hundreds of portfolios; some have confused me yet others have made me want to have that student on the course! I can help you look at your current portfolio (or one you have just started), and provide structured advice on forming a portfolio that positively supports your application for an undergraduate graphic design course. I can offer guidance on: • What to include, and exclude, from your portfolio — we can review your current projects. • Representing the depth of creative investigation, and processes, behind your project work. • Including other forms of creative practice that may support your application. • Presenting your work through layout design and the use of writing/captioning. I can look at the course specification for the BA you are applying for and give specific advice accordingly. If you are expecting a face-to-face or online interview, I can share some of my experiences and offer advice on preparing yourself for what you may be asked.

Primary school Tutor - Primary school Tutor - All subjects
Hello, I am on the journey to becoming a qualified teacher in a few months as I am currently studying for my PGCE with QTS (primary). I have worked in many schools which has given me a great amount of experience both in the classroom and with students 1-1. I am often labelled as the fun teacher as I believe learning should be made fun. I achieve this by first gaining good subject knowledge, building a rapport with my students and setting specific learning targets which then gives me the flexibility to adapt my teaching so it is more interactive and engaging. Teaching has always been my passion, as it allows me to share knowledge, inspire others, and make a positive impact on the children’s life. I have been tutoring for 5 years now which I love as I am able to bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine desire to the individual child, helping them to develop and grow in their academics. I am available to tutor every day after 5 pm and i am most flexible during the weekend. Is there a specific subject within this area you would like support with or is it more a general support ? I look forward to hearing back from you. Have a lovely rest of the day ! Kind regards

English language and literature test preparation ( 11plus, 13plus, GCSE and A level)
Trusted teacher:
This class will prepare a student for their required English examination, (11plus, GCSE or Alevel) I have tutored successfully for 4 years with all students passing or improving their respective tests or exam scores, a most notable achievement being a particular students creative writing reward at their school in Bexley. For a creative Writing session, students will learn (or recap) the basics of writing firstly: proper grammar, literary devices and skills to adopt a flowered vocabulary. Then, planning techniques and practising writing under timed conditions, if necessary ( for example, 11plus, GCSE and A-level practise). I can create a long-term plan to support any area(s) under the English criteria together with the student and parent, sending the work from each lesson so progress can be tracked and materials kept for revision purposes.

I have a more than 10 years experience in teaching field as a Physics Teacher.
I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching physics and maths in India. I have got masters degree in science and education respectively. I was an administrator and a teacher for In the school where I worked for more than 10 years. I have an experience of handling more than 500 students and a staff of 300 at the same time. So I would say 'i have very good skills in working under pressure and in fast placed environment '. As I am very friendly in nature my staff use to love to work with me and never mind to work extra time for me. Having positive approach towards things my students were very comfortable in studying with me. I use to encourage them to work hard and smart to get good grades. I have many technic in solving maths and physics problems that makes me different from other teachers. Students loved the way I delivered the lectures, they never get bored and never mind me taking some extra lectures too. Students get the clear idea to what I am teaching as I am very good on black board presentation. Not only this during pandemic my online lectures were appreciated too, I would say no student would like to miss my lectures. My style of teaching is to the point, pupils will get clear cut idea to what I explain, if not I give them the real life examples and make them imagine the world related to physics as well as maths. So I am very practical in teaching and they can understand all the theory as well. Talking about the curriculum I find much similarities between India and UK, so it won't be the subject to worry for me when it comes to teaching physics or maths here too.
