We can organize the lessons in a way that suit to the student needs. Them can be of one hour, thirty minutes, once a week or two weeks. I usually like spending some additional time in case by talking about music, students goals and their achievements. During the bass lessons we are gonna deal with: - left and right hand technique - scales, arpeggios and chords - Jazz accompaniment - Improvisation - sight reading - harmony related to the instrument I also teach harmony, composition and arranging lessons starting from the concept of "interval" and "motif" to arranging for big band.

I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student. If you already know how to play and you need to perfect a piece or prepare a recital or audition, you can count on my experience and accompaniment as well.

For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.
