Piano is the instrument used by the romantics to make their most beautiful music, but also by the most experimental and modern composers to create their craziest music wonders. Isn't it a great instrument to play? With more than 5 years of experience teaching in music schools and 15 years as a private piano teacher, I developed an efficient and "fun-but-efficient" way to teach how to play the instrument. Every student is different, which means the way to play and learn shall be different, making every single lesson special and rewarding. I've been playing the piano with great passion for 18 years, and over the past 5 years, alongside my studies and music-making endeavors, I've been teaching multiple students ranging from 7 to 50 years old. My expertise lies in truly understanding music theory and composing and improvising music. Having played in many pop and jazz (big) bands and creating daily compositions for solo piano and bands, I've developed an enthusiasm for these genres that I love to impart to my students. In recent years, I've also been heavily involved in music production, and lessons in this direction are also possible! I often use theory as a background to contextualize the songs we practice (which are often chosen by the student themselves). I use these songs to convey improvisation and composition skills. Additionally, I believe it's important for the student to develop their own way of learning. I strive to create a free yet disciplined learning environment.

Hello, my name is Sabine! I'm a soprano, actor, and singing teacher educated in multiple styles. I hold a degree in Vocal Performance (Classical + Pop/rock) & Musicology, and finished my studies at Fontys AMPA (Opera). I have also trained as an actor (film & theatre) at the Mulholland Academy in Amsterdam. My lessons are entirely tailored to your personal wishes. We begin with a discussion about what you'd like to learn, and we work toward your own ideal voice and sound. We can choose classical, operatic, popular, or musical repertoire - or other styles that interest you. The focus is always on healthy, sustainable technique. You can also choose to work on different elements: we can focus only on singing technique, but also on performance or dramatic skills, song interpretation, audition preparation, your speaking voice, stage fright..all questions are welcome! Learn to sing like Celia Cruz or Gloria Estefan! PrisciLa Musica teaches singing at the Muziekpakhuis in the center of Amsterdam. Teaches Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sing your favorite songs! The classes are individual and last one hour. You'll learn how to use the voice in the proper way, starting by your natural speech and developing it to find your own sound. I have experience in both Pop and Jazz styles (a Bachelor in Jazz Singing and a degree in Jazz Composition), so it's possible to study songs from both this repertoires. I also give Music Theory Lessons, to make the student develop his/her own style and musical sensibility and, in the case of Jazz, to know how to improvise on different chord changes and jazz styles.

My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. I ́m a profesional Opera Singer, who is also giving lessons in vocal technique since 7 years. This class is for begginers and intermedium level singers who want to improve the manage of their voices. The class starts with different vocalizations and breathing exercises to warm the body and start to understand how the voice works. Then we start to sing in order to apply the new concepts to different songs. The class its adaptable to every pupil, because everyone has their one vocal history, which means, they have different problem, which need differents aproaches.
