My name is Albina Asadullina. I teach vocal lessons for children and adults, starting from the basics and helping students develop from beginner to advanced levels. My methodology combines classical and modern techniques to help students unlock their vocal potential, build confidence, and overcome performance anxiety. In each lesson, we work on breathing exercises, articulation, and musicality. In addition to vocal training, I also teach music theory and music literature, allowing my students to better understand musical compositions and approach performance with deeper insight. My lessons are based on the traditions of the Russian music school, renowned for its profound approach to technique, interpretation, and emotional depth in performance. This knowledge aids not only technical but also artistic development.

The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music. In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument. We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. My lessons focus on joy, practice, and understanding of the instrument as well as music in general. The theoretical aspect is obviously included, for all levels. It is for me elementary to bring a maximum of motivation to my students, to allow them to have fun with their knowledge and to be able to play with other musicians.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
