I am Thijs (28), an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatorium in Ghent. I also took master classes and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups. My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole. These building blocks together with the student's interests form the curriculum, so that it meets the student's wishes as best as possible. I also teach music theory/music theory. Some aspects of this are also offered during drum lessons. In the end, it's you who will enjoy it the most, so that's what I'm focusing on! Hi I'm a Dutch drummer based in Brussels since 2015 and I have been teaching drums since 12 years. From September 2023 I will be teaching at the Conservatory of Maastricht in the Netherlands. I would be very happy to share my passion and knowledge of drums and music with you. I'm open to work with an individual approach to the taste of every student. Like that I can make a learning plan for each student, always adapting towards the goals we set together. Hello everyone! My name is Noam and I am a professional drummer, drum teacher and music producer, living in Brussels. I am available for drum lessons in Brussels for all levels, beginner to advanced. Learning drums is extremely fun and satisfying! It involves the entire body and the mind, challenging in many different ways and extremely rewarding. While it can be demanding to learn an instrument, it can be as easy as you want it to be. Our lessons can be designed to fit your personal goal. In the lessons we will play songs, study technique and reading and learn different genres of music - all while having fun! I have been teaching for over 12 years. I am very passionate about teaching music, I believe it has the power to change lives, and also helps with just putting a smile on your face :)

During my teenage years, I was intensely involved in marching bands, which gave me a solid technical background. Later, I went on to study Jazz Drums in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Stéphane Galland.

First very influenced by extreme music in my childhood (and even still now), I joined the conservatory where I was able to discover and learn to play other styles of music such as funk, hiphop and then jazz. . I have just finished 6 years of studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels during which I obtained a bachelor's degree in classical percussion as well as a bachelor's and a master's degree in jazz drums, notably following the teachings of Stéphane Galland (Aka Moon, Ibrahim Maalouf). Teaching is an important part of my profession as a musician, I want to be able to share and pass on my knowledge as much as possible. I give individual lessons by adapting as much as possible to the needs and desires of each student. I organize my lessons in two equally important parts: the technical work and the music work. It is essential for me to develop a solid technical background while very quickly starting to apply it by playing pieces that the student will choose with me. My lessons are for all levels, from beginners to experienced drummers.
