Cours de saxophone classique et jazz: My motivation in teaching is to help a student learn the fundamental technique of saxophone performance so they can develop their ow creativity, voice and passion on the saxophone. My hope is to start a student on a life long journey exploring music as art in all its different manifestations, whether performance, composition, etc. I have specialised in classical/contemporary saxophone, however I am still a student myself pursing learning jazz. I am open to all types of musical styles and will adapt my teaching and lessons to what you as a student are interested in. I have a passion for improvising and unleashing a students own creativity.

A qualified pianist and experienced teacher, I have been based and teaching in Brussels since 2014. My lessons are always personalized and based on the needs of my students. I’m a professional violinist and composer, originally from Portugal. I lived in London for 12 years and I hold a Master of Music degree in Violin and Composition for Screen from the Royal College of Music, London. I provide Violin, Music Theory, and Composition lessons. I have been teaching for over 10 years, both privately and in schools. I have helped dozens of students achieve their goals in music, many of whom achieved Distinction in their music exams. I have an extensive orchestral experience and I write music for film and TV. I prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity or any other music conservatory exam in Violin and Music Theory. I can help students learn how to read music and to understand how music works, as opposed to a memory-based approach most music teachers follow. I encourage my students to be creative and to experiment composing their own pieces. Folklore from the south of the world – Music Lesson I am Chilean and I am fan and player of the music of the southern cone: Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Specifically I can help you learn tango, cueca, milonga, murga, boleros and tonadas. To a lesser extent I can help to learn Afro-Peruvian and bossa nova. The lessons I offer can include musical practice, rhythms, progressions and typical melodies, as well as the study of the history of the musical genres and the culture associated with them. If you want to nurture your career as a musician with other genres or if you are an amateur musician with an interest in music from the south of the world, these lessons are for you. If you are not a musician and simply want to approach the study of the culture, I can also provide books, articles and videos relating to it. I would love to contribute to the further dissemination of this folklore that I love so much.

I am currently an economics student at ULB, I am 24 years old and I am looking for part-time work. I had 8 hours of math per week in secondary school. Having already given tutoring lessons, I know how to adapt to the student's pace and I am easy to communicate with. I mainly target primary and secondary students up to 3rd grade. My goal is to bring the student up to speed to start the year on a good basis! Regarding the piano, I started playing at the age of 6 before attending a music academy for 10 years from which I graduated. The piano is for me a passion that I would like to pass on. The student can suggest composers and tell me their preferences. Having quite a few scores at home, I can also bring some depending on the level of the student.
