I teach guitar, improvising, songwriting and music theory for any level, from complete beginner, to advanced. I have spent the my last 4 years at the Royal Academy of Music, studying Jazz Guitar and Composition with some of the best teachers in the world and I am now keen to share this knowledge and get more people inspired and involved in the world of music. Although I studied Jazz, I started off playing Rock and Pop guitar, so I am able to teach those genres as well. I like to tailor the lessons to my student's individual tastes and needs so that they can benefit the most from it and also get the most inspiration. I have taught private lessons for 6 years and have had great feedback from students and have seen students improve rapidly in just a few lessons.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

I teach a range of percussion instruments, including drum kit, snare, latin percussion, tuned and more, while emphasising solid foundational skills, improving timing, and enhancing coordination. I also specialise in tuned percussion, such as xylophone and vibraphone, helping students develop pitch recognition and melodic playing. In addition, I incorporate Latin percussion, teaching instruments like congas and pandeiro, to explore rhythm and groove in diverse musical styles. This class fits students of different age groups and playing levels. From absolute beginners about to make their first (musical) steps to more advanced players with more precise goals. The approach is individual and we will discuss the desired goals in advance and build the learning process around those. Some topics that are usually covered are - rhythm guitar, being able to accompany yourself while singing (in different styles and techniques), lead guitar, improvisation (from basics to advanced), general knowledge of the fretboard and technique.

I have played music all my life hailing from a Jazz family upbringing, and now I am at the stage where I get to play amazing shows and enjoy all the beautiful parts of music. This has inspired me to become a teacher, which I started over a year ago now. I want to share the amazing parts of music with as many people as possible and I find teaching is a great way to do this. Everyone learns in a different ways, so I strive to personalise lessons to your specific needs and goals. However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in! This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano. In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege. On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year. Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

I studied at Berklee College of Music and taught song production and vocal styles at BIMM Berlin. I have a very colourful background as a professional singer and can help with auditions, exams, build up to a performance and much more.
