I am a master's student at Solvay, I offer math lessons for primary and secondary students, I have already given lessons for students aged 8 to 16, so I can adapt to any course. I prefer to teach on the ULB Solbosch campus

As an alumna of the European School of Brussels III and a recent First-Class Honours graduate from The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) with a Master’s in Engineering and Architecture, I offer tutoring support to students of all levels. I’m especially familiar with the European School curriculum, GCSEs, and the International Baccalaureate, and I teach Maths and Physics at any level. I currently tutor several students and have experience tailoring lessons to individual needs. I teach in English, Spanish, Italian, and German, and I can be contacted in those languages as well as French. Here’s how my lessons work: Once a student reaches out, we schedule a day and time. They send me the topics they’d like to cover, along with any class notes, past exams, or homework. I review the material in advance and prepare tailored exercises so we can make the most of our time together. During the session, we work through everything collaboratively, and I often assign additional exercises or homework to reinforce learning. I take notes live during the lesson on my iPad, and afterwards, I share a complete PDF with everything we covered. If there’s something we didn’t get to, I make sure to finish it and send it over as soon as possible. There’s truly no better feeling than seeing a student gain confidence and succeed in a subject they once found difficult.

This course also strives to help any students taking the IB diploma with their Extended Essay and hep provide a guide for other assignments. Additionally, this course provides a crash course for Essay writing.

Need a boost in languages? I am at your disposal for private lessons in Dutch and English. I was a scientific research assistant (in England and VUB) at the university for 10 years. Having lived abroad, I have good knowledge of languages and I have a certificate of educational aptitude. I propose an individualized pedagogy, a help with the preparation of interrogations or exams. My goal is to advance the student without overloading him and give him tools to improve his methodology.

Hello, my name is Nicolas, I am 35 years old and the public to which I am the most accustomed is that of preparatory classes for the grandes écoles, for mathematics lessons in general. However, I also have experience in preparing students from the second to the third year of the license because of the large number of hours of lessons that I have given as well as the many students followed. My teaching method consists of clarifying the course first, making sure that each definition and theorem is well understood. We then discuss the basic exercises and techniques, and finally, if the course followed is demanding, tackle more complicated exercises or even competition subjects. I have just arrived in Brussels as part of a job at the University and look forward to communicating my interest in science to as many people as possible. My background and my research interests also allow me to intervene in physical sciences or computer science.

Holder of an engineering degree in chemistry from the ENSCR (national school of chemistry of Rennes) then a doctorate in physico-chemistry from the CNRS in collaboration with Solvay, I am now a researcher in chemistry in the chemical industry. Very pedagogue (I have been giving lessons for 10 years now), I can help with homework, preparation for tests or exams but also for writing dissertations. I will teach the student to be meticulous, organized, he will of course be able to ask all the questions that come to mind. My classes are aimed at all levels from primary to secondary, as well as specific training involving chemistry, math and physics.

Graduated in Chemistry at the Free University of Brussels, I offer teaching accessible to all and help in preparing questions or exams. (or simple upgrade) Sciences are often hard to assimilate because of their sometimes abstract nature or because of the enormous amount of information to remember. My goal is to help the student progress at their own pace through a real understanding of the material. What's the point of remembering if you don't understand. I check whether the material has been assimilated from one lesson to the next and I can provide additional exercises if necessary.

My specificity is to be able to give lessons in three languages: French, Dutch and English thanks to an FR education at home and studies and work in NL and ENG. I make sure to establish a relationship of trust with the student by listening to their needs and providing solutions in a relaxed and studious atmosphere at the same time. My teaching technique includes two axes: - Structure the steps of the exercises and if necessary explain them in different ways until 100% understanding. - Based on the theory and exercises seen in class in order to best prepare the student for exams. I study in English in Brussels, but am originally from Flanders. Dutch is my native language and I am very experienced in the English language as well. Therefore, I would love to help you with your Dutch or English classes. I would be able to help you with homework, help you study for a text, or simply go over the things that are hard to understand. I would not give my own classes, but if the student mentions that something is difficult, I would be more than happy to explain it again until they understand. The duration of the class would also be up to the student, if it needs to be longer some days that would be no problem at all!
