When you walk in Paris, every street seems like a monument. There’s always a building, a statue, or even the street itself that is part of History. Drawing is a great way to discover a big city. It demands to slow down and pay better attention to what you see. It is also a good way to keep memory of your travelling experience, more personal and original than a photo. As an urban sketcher and art teacher, I offer a drawing experience in the streets of Paris. Depending of which area you want to discover, these sessions can go from 2 to 4 hours. Everybody can draw, so don’t worry if you’re afraid of the exercise, the main goal is to have fun ! I will help you with simple technics to build sketchings. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia.
