Hello everyone! My name is Elvina. I am a russian pianist and a teacher. For 17 years I have been playing this beautiful instrument and for 5 years I have been sharing my experience with adults and children. I have recently moved to Lugano to study at MAS at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. Now I am looking for new students in a new country for me. Cello is in my opinion the best and most versatile instrument that western culture has produced. I am a student at the University of Chicago majoring in music with an ABRSM Grade 8 qualification in Cello Practical Performance. In our lessons, I will coach you through the pieces you would like to work on as well as work on side reading through fun cello duets! I look forward to working with you! If you are looking to do ABRSM instrumental exams, you will need to pass grade 5 music theory in order to progress to grade 6 in your instrumental exams, therefore I will be able to guide you to passing your grade 5 theory paper and beyond. I am also a professional freelance musician and conductor, for anyone interested in conducting, we can discuss how to approach a score in relation to this.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
