Cello lessons for intermediate and professionals! Combining with body-work for a pain free experience

I provide private and/or Skype cello lessons for students of all ages and levels in the Berlin, Germany area. I teach in English, Spanish, Portuguese and a bit of German. I teach primarily the classical style of cello playing, but with these basic tools students can learn to play any style of music they wish on the cello.

I mainly teach at my place in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, but I can also go to yours based on individual arrangement. Hi! My name is Alina, I am 22 years old, and I would like to offer you cello lessons. (All ages and levels are welcome.) Let me tell you about my education. I completed my bachelor’s degree at the Poznań Music Academy in Poland, and this year I will finish my master’s degree in Bolzano, Italy. In addition, I completed a three-year pedagogical course in Poland, so I am confident in my abilities to be a good teacher for both adults and children. In my lessons, we can work together to develop a pathway for achieving your professional goals. If you are a beginner, I can introduce you to the world of cello playing, helping you learn to play for your own enjoyment.

I'm offering Cello lessons in Berlin, all levels and all ages are welcome. I am a cellist and music producer form Rome, Italy. I studied in Conservatorio Santa Cecilia and was part of the Orchestra of the Academy "Juniorchestra" and the World Youth Orchestra. Passionate and experienced, I offer cello lessons adapted to all levels and objectives. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, we will cover the fundamental aspects of instrumental technique by working in depth on the left hand (pitch, vibrato, agility) and the right hand (bow control, pressure/speed, nuances, sound quality). I pay particular attention to posture and bodily connection with the instrument, to create a harmonious link between the body and the cello. This work promotes a fluid and expressive playing, where the body becomes an extension of the instrument. Beyond technique, I encourage ensemble musical playing, introducing you to the art of chamber music and active listening, in order to develop your musical sense and refine your interpretation. Each course is personalized according to your desires and the styles you wish to explore. We will travel through different musical eras to enrich your repertoire and your understanding of styles, while giving an important place to emotions and feelings in music. My goal is to give you the tools and the cards to fully express yourself on the cello, whether for pleasure, to prepare for a competition or a competition or to join an ensemble.

Learn to improvise, jam and create your own music. I am a cellist, composer and improviser specialising in working with string players to unlock and devlop creative potential. I will work with you to deveop a bespoke course to help you develop skills in improvisation. Areas covered: Jazz improvisation - Blues, Standards, Harmony, Bass Lines, Finding Chords, Building and Creating Solos, Elarnig repertoire. Baroque Imrpovisation - Ground Bass, Partimento realisation and developing cadenzas for classical repertoire Free/Folk and other styles - we can explore any styles of improvisation, and discuss how to develop your skills. I am a professor of Imrpovisation at the Royal Colege of Music in London, and a composer and performer of my own music internationally.

I am Zhanshu, a cellist from China with extensive experience in cello playing and music education. I previously obtained my Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK and then completed my Master's degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany. I currently teach at several music schools and have experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels. Through my many years of teaching practice, I have gained valuable experience and can develop an individually tailored curriculum for each student. I offer flexible lesson times, which can be booked in different lengths (30, 45, 60, 90 minutes). I believe that every student has a unique musical potential, so I always adapt my lessons to the needs and goals of my students to help them progress in both technique and musical expression.

Hi! I'm Goeunsol, South Korean Cellist based in Berlin. I teach mostly online, in person at students' location by case. My lessons are welcome for Cellists at all level, beginners, advanced, music students in need to prepare for exams. I am trained with methods such as Suzuki- I as well started myself learning Cello with Suzuki! As a performing musician, I've played as a soloist in a variety of countries, with several national-/international orchestras and have been selected as a Series Performing Artist of Kukje Art Hall in Seoul, having solo recitals every season since 2019. I have participated in international music festivals including Encuentro de Santander in Spain, am currently academist of Zermatt Festival Academy in Switzerland. Looking forward to hear from you!

One of the most wonderfull string instrument is the cello. If you want to learn how to play cello or just to continue improving your skills do not hesitate to contact me. I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy. Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.
