My learning method revolves around two axes: TRUMPET LESSONS For students of all levels, from beginner to advanced, with or without knowledge of music theory, who wish to learn or improve, I offer trumpet lessons where the following aspects will be covered: - Basic notions (fingering, breath, use of the tongue) - Master and perfect your sound - Flexibility exercises (passing easily from low to high sounds) IMPROVISATION My conviction is that improvisation is within everyone's reach, you just need to integrate certain tools that I will be happy to send you! - Become familiar with and master all the ranges - Analyze the chord chart (harmony) of a piece in order to feel comfortable accompanying it on the trumpet - Improvise on different sound accompaniments, thanks to many different and modular musical recordings to learn "playing together" And to go further: I can help you choose and get started with the software I use to record music, and change the key or tempo of the recordings.

I’ll teach you how to approach practice on trumpet or other instruments, based on my 15 years old experience. It’s crucial for me to find approach to every student, and to share knowledge I collected from deferent teachers, musicians and life.

I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student. Hi, I'm Justine, I just finished my bachelor's degree at the Brussels Conservatory and I'm starting a training in pedagogy next year. I can teach beginners and intermediate players in cornet, trumpet or bugle. I am quite flexible in the methods used, there are always plenty of ways to help you progress.
