Ingénieur de formation et doctorant en sciences économiques, je désire partager mes connaissances acquises au cours de mes études avec des étudiants de tout âge dans le Brabant-Wallon et au-delà. Mon objectif est d’aider mes élèves à aborder les mathématiques et les sciences économiques (Microéconomie / Macroéconomie et économétrie) sous un angle différent pour gagner en confiance et améliorer leurs résultats scolaires. A cet effet, je construis des explications ciblées sur base des besoins réels. Aussi, j’aide mes étudiants à atteindre leurs objectifs, en réussissant un concours, un examen, ou un test (GRE quantitative section). Mes cours s’adressent aux élèves du secondaires et aux étudiants en bachelier. Mon objectif est d’aider vos enfants à mieux comprendre les notions de cours d’une part, et d’améliorer leurs résultats scolaires d’autre part. Je mets en place des méthodes d’apprentissage innovantes pour rendre agréable le parcours d’apprentissage. Cela passe par une adaptation aux besoins de l’étudiant, à travers des exercices concrets et des exemples clairs. Aussi, je veille toujours à garder un bon équilibre entre la théorie et les exercices et à faire participer l’élève au maximum pour garantir que les notions enseignées soient bien assimilées.

Math teacher gives private lessons in math-statistics and probability. My teaching has already proven itself with several students that I have already followed and that I continue to follow. It consists of short-term help in overcoming the difficulties of a project or of certain chapters, just as it also consists of continuous monitoring to give students the means to play a role in their successes. I have to start by admitting something to you: in high school, I had very bad grades in math. I spent a long time telling myself that a scientific career was not for me. When I decided to try engineering anyway, I had to relearn everything from scratch, by myself. At the beginning I would have been quite incapable of passing a second humanity level exam. Months of hard, self-taught work pushed me to develop a working method focused on deep understanding of a subject rather than just withholding information. Through this private lesson project I dream of being the person I would have needed a few years ago, a person who in addition to allowing the student to succeed, transmits the motivation to learn. "If you give a man a fish, you feed him once. If you teach him to fish, he will eat all his life."

An experienced teacher, I tailor my course on the specific needs of my students, so they can reach the desired level in math/physics/chemistry as quickly as possible. My approach is practical, and goal-oriented (examination, certificate, etc.). I give courses to high-school and bachelor level students. I speak French, English, and Dutch. About : An engineer by background ("ingénieur civil"), I have become an education professional with a significant experience teaching math, physics and chemistry both in the classroom (lycée Mater Dei, Woluwé-Saint-Pierre), and outside the classroom. I resolve issues that students have for instance because of pre-existing learning gaps, or difficulties to understand the complex aspects of scientific courses in the classroom.

I am currently a full-time teaching assistant in chemistry at UCLouvain for science, bioengineering and management engineering students for 6 years. I also hold the aggregation of upper secondary education. I teach individuals in chemistry by adapting as best as possible to your level by starting as much as possible from the basics which often pose the most problems. I take pleasure in trying to make this subject more understandable, which, it must be admitted, is rather unique and complex. I also try to make chemistry concepts more perceptible using concrete examples of their usefulness. I usually work in two-hour lessons with a break in the middle and provide additional exercises to do at home to optimize learning. I teach classes in English or French. I've been working with a variety of students, ages 7 to 18, for the past three years. I teach Math, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Mathematics, physics and chemistry are subjects requiring rigor and concentration. It is sometimes difficult to follow in class, and these subjects sometimes attract too much interest from students. I am 24 years old and hold an engineering degree from École Polytechnique in Paris, where I was admitted after completing the highly selective preparatory classes (CPGE) at Lycée Louis-le-Grand. I also hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). I can help you understand and master any area of science, with a focus on Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics. I teach students at all levels, from primary grade to the end of a bachelor’s degree, and even master’s level courses in Computer Science. I would share with you my knowledge as well as my advice as a student and former high school student. About me: I am a student at the polytechnic school of Louvain-la-neuve. As a student I know how difficult it is sometimes to learn and assimilate subjects. My first student was a family friend whom I helped in high school in subjects such as math and science. She had a lot of difficulties and failures and it turns out that following my lessons which lasted two months and the entire duration of her exam session during which I followed and supported her, she came out with a report card without failures and a very large positive difference in marks compared to her last. Since then, I have had the opportunity to help several students in their journey from the first secondary to the first year of university.

Having qualified as a management engineer since 2020, I have always had the opportunity to share my taste for mathematics with younger students who are reluctant to think that mathematics is not as terrible as it seems. Thanks to my previous experiences as a private teacher in mathematics, I will seek, on a case by case basis, the best educational way to demystify this subject in order to transform it into a fun and beneficial branch for the student's future.
