I’m a young South African woman loving Paris for a little over 8 months, I came here for a fresh start and further my career in the dance industry. With regards to my classes I like to go with the flow and comfortability of the student, I allow you to move at your own pace and dictate your objectives. I really believe in natural flow, consistent practice and patience. I’m a soft spoken young woman and it’s one of my qualities, I treat others with respect and kindness. Yin Yoga - the powerful practice of silence (1 à 5 personnes)Yoga teacher certified by Yoga Alliance 500 hours of which i had 200 hours of training in Yin Yoga with different teachers of which Michelle Finch who learnt Yin Yoga directly from Paul Grilley.
Yin yoga adresses the more yin part of our body, parts that are closest to our core (such as bones, joints, ligaments and tendons). These parts need to be worked in a yin way with an attitude of quiet acceptance. So poses in yin yoga are always holded for a long time (average 4 to 6 minutes). This helps to maintain the health of connective issues.
Yin yoga also works on our meridiens and thus help with increasing the flow of energy in our body.
Last but not least, it helps balance the Yin Yang aspects of ourselves and develop a mindful state for meditation practice.

Classes (alone or in small groups) can take place:

Example of a one-hour private lesson:
- Meeting, discussion on your expectations, your needs
- Breathing (pranayama), and relaxation to reconnect with your body and anchor yourself in the present moment (5 min)
- Warm-up - Gentle stretch and sun salutations. (10 minutes)

This course is intended for beginners as well as for people who have already practiced yoga. The pedagogy that I propose takes into account the possibilities of each one. Anyone can do yoga, at all ages, whether you are a man or a woman, and regardless of your physical condition. No need to be flexible or a super athletic (believe me, when I started yoga I was so stiff that I didn't touch the ground with my hands while leaning forward)!
Yoga is not about performance. It allows you to find a beautiful body / mind harmony, to improve posture, to soften and strengthen the muscles, to release tension. We work according to the possibilities of our own body at the time of the practice.
